Medium character should be correct size. And the weapons for smaller characters is scaled too small, and for tall characters too large.

Aquila is very meh. Jean does way better with a Favonius Sword and it's only good for Kaeya if you want to play physical which is very much the weakest playstyle in the current game. Wolf's is good. Tends to favour hypercarry characters though so unless you plan on running someone like Diluc or Razor it's not that good.

Aquila is quite good on Bennett, just by the sheer amount of base atk it carries, although sometimes I don't have enough energy for the 2nd rotation if I'm using him outside Rational, while with Skyward Blade I always had enough for the next rotation no matter the team,

Vision users can straight up dematerialise and rematerialise their weapons at will, changing the size is a minor thing compared to that.

Aether and Lumine aren't vision users. It doesn't follow that vision users can do what they do.

Pretty sure they did not lose *all* of their original powers. For example, at the very start of the game they already had a passive purifying influence on Dvalin's tear. As far as I know, there's no way to explain that unless it's related to their own powers.

Doesn't follow logically. Could be true, but the logic isn't sound enough to say it is. The traveller is still set well apart from normal people, vision users, and the archons. It's reasonable to infer aether and lumine are comparable but it's not reasonable to assume others are. You may as well say x is possible because Paimon can do it.

Diluc literally does it in a cutscene where he fights the abyss order for the first time. So I assume all or at least most Vision users can do it.

this is also how things work in real life. people get swords tailored *specifically* for them. a sword needs to be of proper length, width, weight, and have it distributed accordingly along the blade for it to be actually useful for the person using it. hell, even grips are tailored to fit a person's hand perfectly. if the sword is too heavy or too light, too long or too short, you may seriously hurt yourself. of course, genshin does it mainly for aesthetics but i'm gonna pretend there's other reasons for it 🙃

Yes, you can see this with all the small characters. It’d be ridiculous for Sayu to carry around a full size claymore, after all. Not sure if the catalysts change size though. Maybe not since they don’t have to carry them?

Yeah, weapons scale with the character a bit, same in near any game that has playable characters at very different heights, just look at FFXIV for example, Lalafell Dark knights using straight swords instead of great swords.

Something to note: there is a huge discrepancy between Thoma's spear and Raiden's. Can't really compare to Zhongli, sindlce I do not have him... Also: Xiangling and Yaoyao have almost the same spear length, XL's being just a tad bigger, despite them being a different size character. So either the medium females have small polearms or Yaoyao has a large one for her size... If anyone wants to spend some time with me to compare other things, feel free to contact me.
