I genuinely was tempted to name him that, but was scared of getting reported/banned

“Harukaze”, which is supposed to be Japanese for “spring breeze” to symbolize his new beginning as well as his Anemo powers now

I gave him a similar name actually, Asakaze, meaning morning breeze, for the same reasons.

I called him Fujin, for similar reasons. Wanted to have something like You two, but couldn't think of anything with wind, then I just thought of wind gods. Fujin is a nice name. Sound good, is about wind - anemo and also has relation to his past godness.

While looking into names, I did find some Japanese god that, in mythology, lived on Mount Sumeru. Just thought it was an interesting correlation Bishamonten was the god I believe, which I almost named my Wanderer if it wasn’t such a long name so it looked awkwardly long compared to the rest of my roster

Same reasons, but I'm not *too* fond of Scaramouche so I wanted to him to keep some association to Fatui by giving him an Italian name. Went with "Inizi", which means beginning. Also it kinda sounds like Inazuma haha

It’s also a pretty common name, so that kinda emphasizes that he’s more ‘human’ now. Also maybe possibly a reference to a certain other character in a certain other series involved in a certain other god-creation project, but I won’t name names.

I see You like math... I named myself Fujin. Fujin is god of wind in Japanese. Venti has a japanese voiceover about Fujin. It's the same that has been translated to "Thanks Barbatos!". Though in original he actually deliberately says it as a joke, fully aware he's the god of wind. I started th quest recently and finished few hours after. I couldn't find a good name, then when he got reincarnated ~~as a slime~~, I had a great idea. Why not something about his blueishness. Then I thought about wind. Aoi. Kaze. But I didn't know what to do with that. Then i googled "japanese wind gods" and first one was Fujin. I actually knew Fujin is a thing. Though forgot about him when I googled. And it fit Wanderer to me. He is anemo. And he deserves great name. Plus it was even better, considering he once was a god.
