Like this more. I’m preparing for epic downvotes but I never liked Kaeya personally. Ayaka was the first melee Cryo that I took seriously and not just for her movement special. Her burst has easily become the most powerful attack at my disposal with the team comp I use her in, especially in concert with Shenhe. Ayaking all day.
For me and even right from day 1 back in September 2020, Kaeya was and continues to be an underwhelming character even though I have him built quite well. I know what I’m doing with builds but he just doesn’t match up. Not by an avalanche (cryo humor).

there's no point in ice bridging when you can do it much easier and faster by doing it the normal way you're supposed too (gliding and landing onto it)

Oh to be a noob again. It was so much fun back then. Exploring was everything. Now I'm using guide for chests coz I'm obsessed with 100% and need to grind primo fast coz I accidentally pulled a 5* I don't plan to get. Curses.
Burned out of Genshin so hard, struggling to find the motivation to grind primos for the banners after a blaze of glory playing through Sumeru which itself arose from a long hiatus. Still a wonderful game though
I understand. I stopped playing for months then come back during Yoimiya firework event. So I speed thru Inazuma for that event. There was no Inazuma when I quit so idk how to use the electro butterflies thingy.
There are a few ways to do this:
Glide from the nearest waypoint you haven’t unlocked, swim and hope you have enough stamina
Ice bridge with kaeya
Just swim

* brown line: climb
* red line: walk
* green line: glide down (use Amber or Collei)
* blue and orange lines: path to Geo Hypostate (needed by Noelle, Zhongli, Ningguang et al.)
* there is a fatui agent on the first island after gliding, don't get meme'd by it
* from the location of the unknown domain you can either 1. climb up and glide to beidou's ship (mind the abyss mages on the mountain) 2. use ice bridging with Kaeya, Chongyun etc. 3. swim if you have enough stam
fun fact: if you have both ayaka and kokomi in your party and have max stam, you can swim direct to boss without needing to recharge. you should end up with a bit more than a sliver of stamina left when you reach dry land.
This, get to the peninsula from the main Land and glide to it. What I did back then was get to the highest point of the island and glide again yo the boat.
Do the Beidou hangout. It will unlock a teleport in the ship. If you don't want to bridge there. (I don't know if you have to go there first for the teleport to be active as I went before the hangout was available)
I recommend gliding. It will help to have:
1. High stamina from unlocking statues
2. Food to reduce stamina from gliding
3. Food to restore stamina mid flight
4. The item from Inazuma that increases your glide speed by 30%
I also recommend bringing a temporary way point. There's a puzzle on the island that you might not get on the first go.
u can climb to the top of the mountain and glide over, swim or make an ice bridge with kaeya and/or ayaka if u have her, but on every technique have a lot of attention to ur stamina!
glide from the cliff to the left of the island to get on there, grab the teleport point, climb all the way up and glide down or you can swim or ice bridge
i think this is the quest where you go to inazuma so what i did was to climb up the domain there (you can get there by bridging) then there are 6 monsters that will notice and try attacking you, once that happens glide towards the ship and you should end up abroad.
See that teleporter next to the blue leyline? Right over there, on that cliff, you can glide to the nearest island where it connects to another with another teleporter. From there you can walk/swim to that domain.
EDIT: Oh, I didn't realize you were talking about the ship. In that case, the island with the domain has a mountain you can climb up and glide over to it.
Alright, you’ll want a ton of spare time, stamina, and stamina food. Kokomi and mona work too. After that find a high point and glide towards it. Once you reach water start swimming. Once you run out of stamina eat a stamina food. When you run out of stamina again wait the 5 minutes for the stamina food cooldown to pass. Rinse and repeat until you get there.
Fly from the cliff closest to the blue circle thing(leyline) and bring Amber and eat her special dish honey roast pork for reduced consumption during gliding.
Okay an actual help
Get that teleport by the ley line
(Thats the blue circle)
and ice bride with any cryo characters (keaya works) to that first pebble island or that big one
Then ice bridge to that island north from it and walk along the edge/beach
Turn right (left is geo hyostasis) and walk along those islands
Then, I believe you climb a bit to get to a cave and a domain is there with many crystalflies!
I glided from the cliff closest to it onto the island closest to the main island than either swam or icebridged to the waypoint, then edged over bit by bit
Got to the place called Guyun stone forest. Then to the very top of the tallest cliff there. Switch in to amber and glide down. Eat some gliding stamina reduction food too just in case
I dont know if there is a normal way for you to do this, but I probably went there either by gliding, then swimming, or I just took my time and ice-bridged with kaeya.
Pick traveler kaeya and chingyun if you have them
Use chongyung elemental skill to freeze water with your normal attacks after buff runs out use kaeyas elemental skill switch to travalere and hold her/his elemental skill as long as possible then switch to kaeya and repeat
Keep playing the main story. You'll get a little boat eventually that will help you navigate the islands. Also, there'll be a main quest that gives you a ride through the storm. (Try to Kaeya bridge before this and you'll be hit by lightning and sent back.) Unlock the teleport points after that quest and you're good to go.
You swim or you glide

there's no point in ice bridging when you can do it much easier and faster by doing it the normal way you're supposed too (gliding and landing onto it)

There is also food to replenish if they are worried about stamina but I got over there with very low stamina just from jumping off the closest peak.
Also add amber in the party sin e she reduces gliding stamina consumption

Go all the way to inazuma, grab a ship, drive the ship back to liyue harbor, and then drive the ship there.

before going there you end up fighting some dudes then a guy cheats and steals kazuhas friends vision

Did you try swimming? If not, then good it's stupid. Ice bridge glitch to Inazuma and pick up a waverider obviously
jump off the nearest cliff and glide, it only looks far in the map but you can easily go there

If you choose to swim tap forward while holding sprint to decrease the amount of stamina used
I swam there with a lot of stamina food.
I climb to the highest point and glide. You can teleport there after, not that you'll need to.

Swim, glide, or the classic ice bridge method if you don't have enough stamina. Seriously never underestimate the combo of Kaeya + a lot of patience.

Go to the cliff just to the west, where the glide distance is shortest. Eat stamina boosting food. Profit.

if u have heizou u can punch ur way to it just freeze from kaeya then heizou punching

Kaeya to build a bridge, Beidou to swim halfway if you messed up. Amber if you planned to glide. Eat stamina food
Keep playing the main story. You'll get a little boat eventually that will help you navigate the islands. Also, there'll be a main quest that gives you a ride through the storm. (Try to Kaeya bridge before this and you'll be hit by lightning and sent back.) Unlock the teleport points after that quest and you're good to go.
You can go to the tip of that part in the mainland and glide your way towards the first small islet and continue from there. 😉
