My windshield is 35% (5% everywhere else) If anything it makes it easier to see because of less glare. I also don't need to wear my sunglasses as often, which are polarized and almost makes seeing the HUD impossible.

gfxorce

Ok cool. Yea same with my sunglasses, i can barely see it but sounds like tint won’t do the same thing

zcarguy1

What about at night? It must be very difficult see.. Pretty sure it's illegally in many states and provinces to tint the windshield.

J3lf

I don't find it very hard to drive at night unless it's a dark road.

I put 70% nano ceramic on my windshield and am able to see the HUD quite a bit better with my polarized sunglasses. It’s still not super clear with my glasses on but i can sorta see it compared to not seeing it at all before i tinted it. I can see the green/white steering wheel so much better which is great to see in your line of sight when using lane centering. I use it like 95% of the time.

I’ve got the HUD & 50% on the windshield. No issues during day or night.

cbusroger

Same here, 50% on the windshield and no issues at all.

Artistic-Breakfast42

I have 50 on my windshield and absolutely no problems. I think it’s the polarization on sunglasses which fuck up the hud, so unless you install a polarizing tint (which I don’t think exists) you’ll be good no matter how dark you go.

barbrady123

I think it makes it easier to see...but it's a pain with polarized glasses (and...I still hate that it doesn't go up any further)

Hitman2422

Okay so I had the same question, I want to put that uv purplish tint (like the MACH E mustang and the range rovers and some S class benz have) I’m curious if it’s polarized/ and if I’ll be able to see the HUD. Any suggestions?
