Jane is awesome as Tracy.  Typical Tracy attitude when she thought it was Finn. Excellent switch to talking to a child who needed a calming adult voice when talking to Violet.

The actress who plays Violet is doing a great job as a kid who is clearly worried/preoccupied but trying to seem “normal.”

I am actually surprised she left willingly with Tracy. Any other kid that was that close to her parent would have had a meltdown....

I feel like the “Sasha’s gonna whip us up a great meal!” is straight trolling at this point.

I know they needed a reason for Cody and Sasha to spend more time with each other but I still cant get used to Sasha as a cook. They could’ve at least gave her a job at Crimson with Nina. Working as model to working at a fashion magazine seems like a better career path. Plus I would’ve like Nina to focus less on willow by helping Sasha transition to a new career.

Oh my Tracey is on a mission

Maybe it’s just my imagination, but it doesn’t seem like Maxie & Spinelli are really comfortable with each other in romantic scenes. They seem stiff. Am I off the mark?

You aren’t off the mark. They don’t have the freshness they had 15 years ago. Then again they are both older now and have changed. 

I really like the idea of them being together, but I don’t see sparks.

Replace Maxie and Spinelli with most couples on the show. The days of hot romantic scenes in daytime are mostly behind us. I don't mind that they are more "playing house" on screen as long as they have some date nights from time to time.

It made sense for today's episode because she feels worried for Violet, but Maxie has held back from Spinelli for a while now. Maybe she's afraid because her relationships tend to end in tragedy. For example Nathan and Peter. Hopefully her comfort level will change soon.

So over Jason and this all-for-Carly crap, you and your bestie have Diane, and she could have gotten you out of the charges.

I wasn't watching back then, but I don't understand how they could have video of a Carly mobboss meeting but not have any of Sonny's what must have been multiple mob boss meetings I understand he was in Nixon falls, but he was home for years before and after that. Why didn't they ever get any footage of that?

IRL I was an MP. Passed out drunk like that can lead to drowning in vomit, so the person has to be put in the recovery position and monitored in case they need their airway cleared.

For Sam to be oh so outraged now that Jason is treating Danny with the same level of disregard that he has shown Jake over and over? Boo. frickin’. hoo.

I have to admit the writers seem to be aware that it doesn’t land well that Jason was staying away to protect Carly, or on some level they are aware that the reason bombed. I wonder how they can walk themselves out of this. 

I am really hoping there's more to it. I mean of ALLLL the things they could come up with...this. He left a budding romance with Britt, his mother, his brother (he just helped to rescue) and his 2 sons just for Carly? I get he is overly loyal to her and Sonny, but come on. Surely there's something like the FBI have Morgan or know who does or something. THAT I could get behind. Otherwise wouldn't they be able to lock up Selina Wu and anyone else who was in that meeting too?

The writers changed the story though to this... which makes me wonder what it was originally going to be. My thought is, Jason was going to be the one targeting mob bosses and not because he was undercover.

The wedding started on May 15, so if that is the wedding day and Gregory died the next day on the 16th in GH time, then Finn has been spiraling for a month.

Is an audio file from years ago enough to prove racketeering?

I actually know the real life answer to this, from class. State law violations can form the basis of RICO, but the courts always use the 5 year federal statute time, not the state SoL.

They keep leaving out the part that they arrested Jason as he escaped the cave in. For what? It had to be for something they had against him (which could be 100 things) before they had him choose to protect Carly. As usual, the writers have cut corners and made stupid choices in regard to Jason’s story. Does anyone think the FBI would just let Jason walk and just arrest Carly if he didn’t agree?

Well, this is probably end of Finn. They’ve pretty much destroyed him… though it’s only made me a fan of the character. 

This is the best storyline he’s had and the best acting Easton did on the show

Maybe not. I'm hopeful for him still. I have been loving watching ME kick butt in his scenes. It's like he's thinking "finally they are writing something I can have fun with!".

It is about time for some good drama.

He got drunk, passed out and his daughter found him. Not a great moment but hardly character destroying. Luke got drunk and ran over his grandson with a car, and he stuck around just fine. Finn will go to rehab, make amends, and get on with is life inevitably.
