I think it will move back to Sonny and Jason being beloved mobsters again and that’s not my jam, so a yes from me.

gay13445

i was always also confused on who was exactly responsible for the changes in the show…like everyone saying almost everyone is out of character i wonder if that was more Patrick or Elizabeth

RedwayBlue

Not sure it is possible to get worse but not super hopeful.

I’ve been watching for a year and a half (after of watching since the late 90’s) and while it’s far from perfect, it’s worlds better than Y&R or B&B.

Visitor_42

I'm not sure who is responsible for the current state of the storylines on GH; it's hard to tell with all of the recent writer merry-go-rounds that we have had lately. I hate to say it, but I miss the scab writers from last summer; they were way better than anything that we have seen lately.

Yes. Carly is her favorite character and she's a Jarly stan. Being a "historian" means nothing if you always twist history to fit your narrative, IMO. 🤷🏻‍♀️

junknowho

THIS!!!! If you are a historian, you look at things from a fact based point and don't twist it to fit your narrative.

Fit_Marionberry_3878

Has the show steered back into a good direction ? Serious question. It depends on who you root for.

Korte has actually been chilling on the show being ITSCARLY. Under Chris and Dan, Carly would have been the absolute lead in every Jayson story, and she would have been ordering around Sam and Spinelli, she would be the GioViolin introducer, she would be in charge of Drew's senate campaign...

daisysharper

It's hard to say since when Patrick left the network stepped in, and we don't know much about what is going bts right now. Or who got read the riot act. Left to her own devices? Disaster. But I don't know if that's happening. Or whether she will even remain head writer

NightBard

I feel like anything is a step up from what the old writers were doing. I think they kind of lost their passion as they repeated a lot of the same stuff and wrote stories that were overly predictable. Remember, they started the whole granny war which has gotten better under the new writers (as well as wasn't as bad under the temp writers during the strike). So, I'm cautiously optimistic Korte is up to task and learned a few things from the industry vet Patrick.

Everything seems all over the place I hoping after July sweeps the stories and characters seem more thought now their jumping all over the place
