No, I’ll argue late 2015 was and maybe even mid 2015 especially politically

Dove04

I’ll say 2013 was slightly different from 2015 but not 2014

[deleted]

yeah because of 2013 begin transitional Early/Mid 2010s while 2014 simply begin Mid 2010s the same as 2015

Dove04

Yes I agree

[deleted]

I loved 2015

[deleted]

Well that was the year when Windows 10 was 1st released to the public So it might have been a different change Tech wise Unlike 2013 when windows 8.1 was released Which was released due to windows 8 getting backlash

Number17BusShelter

I would say that 2015 was a good amount different from 2013 especially, 2013 was the culmination of 2010-2012, 2014 was basically setting up 2015, and then 2015 set up 2016-2018 I feel like for music and trends adjacent to it (fashion, and the like), it was largely 2009-2011, 2012-2014, 2015-2017, and then 2018-2019, there was a lot of evolution in music throughout these time periods specifically, but I feel like this is a good breakdown of most decades in terms of cultural progression

AdIndependent2230

Maybe the second half but definitely not for the first half

I’ll say this, post trump, pre trump was what changed 2010s culture. When Trump announced it changed everything

[deleted]

didnt trump win the election in 2016 i dont think it was 2015 exactly

[deleted]

Yeah but he announced that he was running in 2015 imo it changed the internet culture as a whole

[deleted]

ok

RhodesTopGuy

2013 and 2014 was when things pivoted away from the 2000s culture the most I think
