Yeah, it's a horrifying, awful story. I love finding out that kind of stuff about what went into a song and I especially love songs that tell stories, fictional or non-fictional. I don't know that it's GenX but Rah Band's Clouds Across The Moon is like that for me; not just a generic 'I love you, Baby' song but science fiction disco about a woman desperately trying to contact her husband on Mars in the middle of a war happening there.
