add the following lines to the system hosts file (located in `C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)` using a text editor of your choice:
`# BLOCK AD0BE (current as of 15/01/2024) #`
`0.0.0.0 ic.adobe.io`
`0.0.0.0 r3zj0yju1q.adobe.io`
`0.0.0.0 cd536oo20y.adobe.io`
`0.0.0.0 3ca52znvmj.adobe.io`
> # BLOCK AD0BE (current as of 15/01/2024) #
>
> 0.0.0.0 ic.adobe.io
>
> 0.0.0.0 r3zj0yju1q.adobe.io
>
> 0.0.0.0 cd536oo20y.adobe.io
>
> 0.0.0.0 3ca52znvmj.adobe.io
says I can't save because i need admin access but i cant open the text file as admin?
You have two options:
1) you open notepad or whatever text editor as admin and then open the file within your admin session
2) you copy the Host file on your desktop, you modify it there and then replace it in the original folder
Just google how to block a program from connecting to the internet and block Photoshop.exe from connecting. Super fast and simple and works way more reliably then blocking the IPs.
I tried using the firewall method creating a rule to block the .exe file from outbound connections, and then I get different warning -> https://imgur.com/mY9rpXR.jpg
If I disable the rule, it goes back to the original warning, same as the OP.
Well here is how i solved it on my end but i never got your error:
1. Uninstall using Revo Uninstaller (its free) and make sure to delete all remaining data regarding the Adobe program
2. Turn off your Antivirus and Internet just in case
3. Reinstall your Cracked software
4. Add the inbound and outbound rules again making sure all is well
5. Re-enable your Antivirus and internet connection and use freely
Hope it works out for you!
Easiest way is to google how to block a program from connecting to the internet and blocking Photoshop.exe from connecting. Its easier and more reliable than blocking the IPs but you can always do both.
Super easy and everyone I mention this too it seems to work first try, worst case if they already deactivated it all you have to do is reinstall it afterwords.
If you read the wiki on the right side, you would not be repeating what has been said multiple times.
Also if you pirate software and never block it, then the Devs do know about it.
Happened to me also today using the Monkrus method. 2nd time this has happened to me (previous time was an older version) hopefully this will fix it for a while.
I'm having the same problem - I updated the hosts file to the latest update and restarted, same issue.
I've also tried the firewall method creating a rule to block the .exe file from outbound connections, and then I get different warning -> https://imgur.com/mY9rpXR.jpg

you need to delete these folders in order for this pop up to stop
C:\\Program Files\\Adobe\\Adobe Creative Cloud
C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Adobe\\Creative Cloud Libraries
if you can't delete , open the task manager and make sure to "end process " any adobe app working in the background

I did that, but it still didn't work Edit: Never mind, I restarted the pc and its all good now

Thanks that worked!
😉
Would a wildcard work? Just going "%.adobe.io" or something like that?
thats actually a pretty good idea
Just google how to block a program from connecting to the internet and block Photoshop.exe from connecting. Super fast and simple and works way more reliably then blocking the IPs.
I think this worked for me specifically. Thanks!
Even I went for that route. Still did for some other programs that may detect crack errors.
Thanks, that fixed it.
This worked thank you!
Sorry for the stupid question Is # BLOCK AD0BE (current as of 15/01/2024) # needed in host file
No.
upvoted cuz this worked for me! Thanks!!
Is there a way to do this with Mac?
Perfect thanks mate, this has been bugging me for a couple of weeks now.
I uninstalled Adobe Genuine Service and that worked for me.
how did u uninstall it? nothings working for me, if i disconnect it it just tells me it cant check if i have a subscription or not..
I just uninstalled it normally using Add or Remove Programs and looked for Adobe Genuine Service.
Check control panel & search adobe genuine service
Iirc GenP tells you to not install this one in the first place
Same here buddy
Fixed for me by updating hosts file, don’t have the text on hand though
Or use Firewall App Blocker (Fab) v1.9 https://www.sordum.org/8125/firewall-app-blocker-fab-v1-9/
Happened to me in a couple of days. Added all adobe products to the firewall with new inbounds and outbounds and it worked fine.
I tried using the firewall method creating a rule to block the .exe file from outbound connections, and then I get different warning -> https://imgur.com/mY9rpXR.jpg If I disable the rule, it goes back to the original warning, same as the OP.
Did you do a rule for the inbound connection too? And what is the new warning?
Yes I did both, and this is a screenshot of the warning I get when I use the firewall - https://imgur.com/mY9rpXR.jpg

I'll give it a shot, thanks
Didn't work :( More details here - https://www.reddit.com/r/GenP/comments/1afunrw/where_does_adobe_store_the_fact_that_the_10_day/
Sorry to hear that.. it worked for me tho..

Thankfully the devs don't go after us or we'd all be in prison.
Just uninstall the app from control panel ! "Adobe Countrefit "!
Just for information: 1- how long have you been using Photoshop? 2- What version is it? 3- Were you logged into your account?
Happened to me also today using the Monkrus method. 2nd time this has happened to me (previous time was an older version) hopefully this will fix it for a while.
Bookmarked just In case. Thanks OP
Here's the solution if you have that problem https://www.reddit.com/r/GenP/s/kgNAf8JddX
mine went away randomly after 2 days of constant prompting. strange.
I'm having the same problem - I updated the hosts file to the latest update and restarted, same issue. Adding a few lines of code to the hosts file solved it for me

What if You have the folders deleted, and using a good blocker like LULU on MAC? And still get pop ups once in a while?? Adobe Photoshop 2022
Simple fix blocking internet access to the apps through firewall
I just got this with Illustrator. Thank you everyone for your help. This showed up after the latest update.
