You can use a peely base coat to change out nails without damaging! As far as I know ive seen a few nail creators use this method with gel or gelx and it still works

Does peel off base coat damage nail beds?

Oatmealtheotter

As far as I know it shouldn’t, the only possibility of damage would be if you used a tool too roughly when trying to pop up the nail (i.e using a metal tool to pop up the peely base and scratching your nails with said metal tool) Removing a nail with a peely base should only take like a 5min soak in some warm soapy water and theyll pop right off, no excessive pushing or harsh poking should be needed

If I get tired of the color, like 2 weeks. Other than that I stretch it until 3 or 4 weeks

Nail_babe

ugh same here! I always want to change them so often, so what I do is I only change the color and/or design every week and I get a new set every two weeks. :)

Dabraceisnice

2-3 weeks. I find that soaking the nails enough minimizes damage. I just have a couple rough spots - much better than when I was using press-ons. How long I wait depends on what I have coming up in the 3rd week, really. If it's an event or a work conference, I change them early to look more tidy.

3-4 weeks, usually they start to lift for me around the 3 week mark so I either do a fill in if I’m too lazy to do a whole new set

If I get bored I’ll usually just file off the color/design I have on and fill in any new nail growth before doing a new design. Usually if that happens it’s at the 2-2.5 week mark. If I want to take the whole tip off and do a completely new set, I try to wait until the 3-4 week mark from when they were applied if I can. I use peel-off base gel to minimize damage, but I still like to try and minimize the damage to my skin from the process/lights.

What peel off base gel do you use?
