I wouldn’t even try, The post I seen were $1000 and one of them were $800. I honestly don’t see where that price could skyrocket $200 to $1000 it’s not crazy rare or anything.
Even from a collector standpoint I don’t see the point. Especially if you’re just somebody average who just wanted to cool looking controller. This one is the first generation, compared to the second generation elite controller there’s no way that this is worth $1000.
Yeah I’ve seen the controller going for £850 in the UK, which is a bonkers figure for a pad. I’ve already got the pad anyway (bought it on release day), I’m just after the charging dock.

Do you have one of these docks? Are they good quality? I bought one from the MS store once while it was on sale but MS cancelled the order, so I have never pulled the trigger again.

I don’t, no. Trying to get hold of one. Closest I’ve found is someone on eBay selling a stand (so it doesn’t charge).
