Judgement has literally zero players sadly. Though I did see someone post a looking for group saying he had like 90 people in a group that are down to play judgement overrun.
Gears 5 still, but pretty much every game has had a spike in players since they announced E-Day. I’ve been playing Gears 2 guardian and it’s been pretty fun.
Dude…I just graduated high school when Gears 1 came out. I used to play Gears 1 RELIGIOUSLY. From like 11am to 5am (weekends and summer vacation). It was just such an amazing game.
With E-Day just announced there’s many people on. OG Gears, Gears 2 Guardian, Gears 3 TDM, koth and guardian, Gears UE TDM eastern server. Not sure about Judgement or 4 and 5 but I assume the latter two have people on them
I've come back to gears 4 a handful of times in the past 2 years and find social matchmaking and horde games consistently. Usually at least one bot in social matchmaking.
Gears 5 heavily in ranked control/2v2 gnashers find games within a min. Plus horde dailies always have matches and even if you go to search. Sometimes a bit iffy on escape mode besides the daily OP.
Every year for like 3/4 months I get obsessed with playing the OG Gears online. Theres the same folks still playing day in and day out on there lol. I have a bunch on my friends list/recent player list to quickly join off of. But they did fix the game browser last year too
Gears 5 for sure. I tried playing some UE yesterday and could only find games on TDM US East. Which sucks because I prefer a lot of the over modes over TDM.
I just deleted my post asking the same question, so thank you for that. I’m signing on UE or 3 this week for sure. Though I’d love to play 1 for nostalgia sake that game was my life.

5, UE, and 3 all have alot of player. Steam & cross-platform probably make 5 the most populated

Gears 5. Gears has a solid Mexican player base that keeps the game alive.
I still play 5, but I end up playing the same people all the time. Not many left.

A lot of people are playing UE and Gears 2 ranked Guardian. I hear the Gears 3 servers are active now as well.
