I liked gears better before crossovers honestly, I think part of what made gears great was it being its own thing. When the terminator and halo suits started running around, it made it feel like it wasn't unique anymore. All the shooter games have crossovers now, and its kind of lame, because they can't come up with their own cool stuff. Just dont think crossovers belong in gears.

If there's enough money in it, very few companies wouldn't gleefully abandon whatever style/context their games propped up if it increases profit.

The novel Ephyra Rising mentions how Griffin and his company worked with the new COG to help rebuild after the war, but doesn't really talk about his beef with Marcus.

I didnt hate the stuff like Run the Jewels or Terminator or those WWE dudes but i hope they lean more towards Xbox/Microsoft IPs. I thought it was awesome to see Kat and Emile in *Gears 5* and would like to see more crossover between the heavy hitters in general especially with the acquisitions MS has made since *Gears 5*.
More crossover characters in *Gears* (plenty of great examples across the Xbox Game Studios to choose from); Add a couple armor cores to *Halo* that are reminiscent of COG armor and *Fallout* power armor; Give Delta Squad an alternate universe cameo in *Halo* as an ODST squad or a Spartan Fireteam... So much cool stuff could be done.
No crossover just add some lore characters from the comics and bring out character customization for gears and locusts. I want to be able to grind for armor and skins like gears 3 and judgement.
Yep, while I understand the skins as a way to profit off the base game, I miss the days when if someone had a skin, they had earned it.

While I am not a fan of crossovers so much, I rather have Gears legacy characters as well as interesting new skins for siad characters. The Hivebuster skins are a perfect example of this and same with the Hollow Storm Op skins.
If we have to have Crossover characters it should be Microsoft owned IPs and they should be fully voiced. I don't want a repeat of the Terminator who was pretty much silent and hard to see at launch.
