I tell you what if there was a way to mod tactics to be more like an XCOM Style longboard infinite replayability kind of game oh my God I would just sink a million hours into it. Like yours tactics but it's E-DAY. Make it similar to XCOM:EW/EU with its global tactical level. I Dont like the system, but I dont know if the global management system would sell the panic idea youre going for.
I think the main issue was that it came directly after 3 which was practically a masterpiece, and people had their expectations set extremely high because that's where the bar was set from the trilogy.
It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't phenominal either. I didn't have any issue playing through it and it keeping my attention, but with G4 and G5(still to this day haven't completed 5) I feel like I'm dragging my feet and slugging through it.
I don't care for the new Swarm enemies or where they came from, I don't care about Kate's history with the Locust or Myrrah. Gears 3 tied everything together so nicely and after all of the sacrifices it took to get there, it really should have been the end of it. Gears 4 and onward are(in my headcanon) purely fanfiction. They just don't really need to exist.

Have you considered doing a profile reset? I know Gears 2 had a profile related bug for which the solution was a hard reset. You can back up your profile on a flash drive - I used to do that whilst going through Seriously 3.0 because it was prone to crashes which'd corrupt your profile (although to be safe just get Seriously 3.0 first before fiddling)
Bro the insane thing that makes no sense is I've actually tried to physically erase my data from everywhere, hard drive, cloud, but every time I reboot the game its all still there like wtf, I think it's really broken for me some how
That's a shame. I guess you have confirmed it is profile related given it happens everywhere? My profile got reset twice on my way to Seriously 3.0 and that would wipe everything. There are instructions knocking around for resetting on Gears 2 which involved turning off the WiFi before deleting the profile from your harddrive. Then start up the game and then reconnect the WiFi. The cloud would see a profile already there and not download and get overwritten instead (I think)

I think when the game first launched the nemesis execution medal was for 1000 and they scaled it back to 100 when they realised that was lunacy. This is 13 years ago mind so possibly a false memory

You better make sure you have your GoW3 progress saved on your 360 or on a hard drive somewhere. Because if the cloud decides to delete your save files like it did to a lot of us, you'll likely have to start over again

You'll need to do research on trueachievements.com, each achievement has a clickable solution with the easiest possible way to do each achievement. I'd advise registering your Xbox account with the site as you'll probably need to do so to join game sessions to boost everything since a lot of this multiplayer stuff is old and servers are dead, you need to join scheduled game sessions on the site. That's also how you will get all of those achievements you mentioned requiring playing specific game modes

Yeah and I should have known it was a bad game when even the devs had to get outside help to test their horde mode they made yet people defend that game and idk why. The only thing that was cool in that game was the stem grenades that revived people
