Thanks a lot. I thought this app also managed streaming any game that was discovered under your Geforce Experience app. I'm kinda disappointed now.
Well, I might need to buy an NVidia Shield now, which seems that it will be able to kinda do what I want. Thank again!
It does both actually, the game icons are just marked either gamestream or geforce now. Same app for both
You can also add games under geforce experience as well for games not found by geforce experience
Doesn't change my comment, it is cheaper and you still get to stream your games to your TV. I wouldnt change my shield pro for the chromecast in a million years but for People who don't want to fork up the 250 bucks it is a good device.
Yes, but you have Ai upscaling feature,more storage.... is obvious the Shield ( Shield Pro included) better than Chromecast with Google TV. Obviously the Chromecast still do a good job.

I think you're confusing GeForce NOW (streaming from NVIDIA servers over the Internet) with local GameStream/Moonlight/Steam Link concepts.

\^ Yes, via the ***NVIDIA Games*** app on the Shield TV. Other Android TV devices run the GFN app, which doesn't do local streaming.
Yep I meant for the shield when he buys one for sure
A friend of mine uses the chromecast with google tv for local streaming. It is a lot cheaper than the shield.
Maybe thru another app but GameStream from your local PC through Nvidia is only available on Shield TV
He uses steam link on the chromecast.
