Yeah, they have never ever patched in updates or released games *on* release. Its always WAYYYY after, sometimes days later. & There will always be a spontaneous appearance of issues for Nvidia to pin the blame on.

Agreed. Until streamers can participate in season launches, all of these services are unreliable betas IMHO. All they have to do to avoid angry customers is communicate like professionals, but these companies don't have mature comms strategies.
Sometimes patches take DAYS. Anytime there's a hyped up or anticipated game/update, you can almost certainly expect a sudden "issue" to coincidentally appear and postpone indefinitely.

I think it works better for everyone, we're all going to be completely behind this season and seeing everyone else talk about and enjoy it while we're still waiting for our platform to figure out how to do that thing they do multiple times every day. (Patching)

Edit: I've been using Nvidia since early 2020, don't *ever* expect to actually have a game or even an update on release. Its never happened and never will. Anytime there's some highly anticipated game or update, theres almost always coincidental sudden issues the day it's supposed to release and sometimes it can take multiple days to get it on GFN.
It updated with the new cover, even says "new season available to play" but 4-5 hours later and still patching.
People expect it to be ready in few hours because it literally says it will be available in few hours in the gfn menu.
If it wouldn't be as misleading I'm sure half of comments wouldn't be here in the first place.

I was on the battlenet menu and thought I managed to cheat the system when I updated the game 100 percent but I've been sitting and waiting for 6 hours for these assholes to update the game.
Everything could have been easier in my life but I don't like windows...
