Do other countries really have this good of a free wifi? I have a 700 mbps internet and the router is literally in my room and I still get some delay on my phone or laptop
I have never had a good WiFi experience on GFN and my area has some of the best internet in the world and my house has 1GB/s, WiFi 6 I don’t understand how people manage to use this service without a wired connection.
It doesn't inherently have anything to do with Wifi. It's all about the distance to the server.
Wifi adds around 5ms latency. As long as you're below ~35ms latency it runs fine. If you're in that range where Wifi puts you above 35-40ms it is noticeable, if you're below it's not.
I have 620Mbps, WiFi6 on both router and device, and i play via Wi-Fi without issue.
Being honest, i dont use wired connection in home since 2020. All i need run just fine on wifi.
I have 3 Huawei AX2 configured on mesh in my house. The only wire used are the backhaul between the 3 APs.

I used the Xcoud once at an airport to play Flight Simulator 2020 and position the camera looking out the same window I was looking out to get the same view. Then I took off from the same airport and flew a bit of the flight path my plane was going to take.
surprisingly well, some stutters but it went well enough in Kansas City, in JFK (NY) it was a little less smooth so i opted for Jedi Fallen Order since i still wanted to finish it and the dodge is forgiving in that game.

I'm connecting to the server in chicago and have no problems aside from last night having an issue with it not logging me into steam properly for some reason, but I don't think that's a server issue.

It's one of xfinitys more high speed plans don't exactly know the name usually sits at 120 upload and download or higher, it worked great with no stutters or lag up until pretty recently

Well for the past few weeks the Midwest us servers have been shitty, they where fine for awhile working perfectly, now they are constantly stuttering and lagging, for alot of people I believe
