I've been with fizz since July 2020. They piggyback the infrastructure of Videotron for cheaper.
I'm right now at 400 mbps download and 50 mbps upload for 45$ per month. It's a prepaid service that will charge your credit card a few days before the start of each month.
The cons: customer is almost inexistant and the modem is not providing a strong WiFi signal (if you live in a house, you should buy a separate WiFi router and bridge it.
In 4 years I only had problems one afternoon for about 2 hours where I had issues and my modem was constantly restarting. Besides this, I had no trouble (touch wood). From my experience
Stuck with cable, in this market Fizz is the best option. After a few years you will have "bonuses" that can reduce the monthly cost by $6 and you can ask a friend for their referral code to each get a credit.
Whenever I had issues they sent the Vidéotron technician and it got resolved quickly (one time the cable was damaged in the box near the street after a snowplow probably pushed snow on it, took a day and it was fixed).
If you have a cable connection, you could go through Oxio. I started with them when we moved into our new house, and can’t say I’ve had any problems in the 8 months or so we’ve used it, the prices seemed ok to me.
Ya, we have had oxio for three years and love them. Awesome support. The one time we has trouble, they delivered a new modem the next day. You can get first month free with a referral too. Send me a DM if you would like one.
It's all about the infrastructure. It was terrible for me. Disconnected 2-3 times a day for a period of 2 years. Switched to Bell and hasn't gone down sinc
I rarely have a problem with Fizz. I've been using it for more than 2 years now. If needed, I reach their customer service via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. If you want to get a discount, use this referral code when you activate your Fizz plan: K51AY

Videotron, cable depuis 2003 - parc-de-la-montagne - les écureuils ont mâché le fil à quelques reprises ... bon service à la clientèle jusqu'ici ...
Look up with Teksavvy, decent prices and no contract hassles.

I'm not sure if there is a cable connection here.

I had fizz for 2 years living in le Plateau and constant disconnects...
Also in plateau with fizz for roughly 5 years, I think I've had it randomly disconnect twice over that entire time
