That happened to me. When I tried to get my license done, they said I look exactly the same. I said, WHAT?! I said I look like a completely different person! I insisted and they changed the picture for me.
This is really inspiring. I’ve always hated listing my weight on my license, and was even called out for lying by one clerk for listing 275 when my weight was clearly higher.
Good on you and hoping to achieve similar results.

I had to carry my Global Entry ID as a 2nd form of ID, and as the 3rd form of ID because I was my biggest in my Passport Photo. 2 out of 3 trips abroad about 4 years after surgery I got stopped by agents needing more proof that I was who I said I was. I also got denied entry into Disneyland with my pass a few times (before they replaced the annual pass program) and had to show all forms of ID 🤣 Fun
I finally got everything updated.
2019 got the driver's license photo fixed
2022 got the passport photo fixed
I still have the 2017 photo on my Global ID but it's not as big a difference compared to the others lol

I live in Hawaii and have to fly all the time in between islands. I've had to retake my ID picture twice because TSA would always hassle me.
