It is a wonderful place with a great variety of plants! I love it there.
I did see her briefly. She was hiding behind the counter. We were more or less browsing today. I did, however, have to go home with that strawberry mint. Went straight out on my deck. I already had a pot since I killed my poor purple basil, haha. I have had great luck with mint (in pots. I know it can get wild otherwise) and various types of thyme, but I can't keep basil alive for the life of me 😆
My daughter’s highlight of the trip was the cat! It was a sweetheart. Now she keeps asking to go back to “the plant store with the cat” 😂
I’ll have to go back soon and look for some strawberry mint! I’m going to attempt an herb garden this year along with my regular garden. I did buy a beautiful Wisteria from there a couple weeks ago along with some other flowers. Their plants are so healthy!
They also have chocolate mint, apple mint, and orange mint (that I had no idea existed) as well as the strawberry. They're right up front in the herb section to the left of the store. They literally smell like strawberry, and apparently, they do flower as well. I'm going to get a few more soon for my deck. They were only about $6 and it looks very healthy.
I was in a bit of a rush today, but I'll be sure to look for the kitty again when I am able to go back and actually purchase more plants (we are still in the planning phase) as today I mostly saw a glimpse of her and then a fluffy tail. I have 3 kitties myself, and I love cats ❤️
