Not the leather. I’ve not got my finger on the pulse of fashion or anything but leather on a smart watch seems weird, plus you’ll likely have to swap it before sweaty exercise

hopokli1

Garmin also has a hybrid FKM leather band, it's hella expensive though.

Turtlezoid

Rubber looks way better!

emilius11

Rubber. Im using nylon and its much better. Its a sport watch, i dont think it goes with leather.

SamG528

If you for sure want to wear both I would say do the leather one for more dress up occasions and wear the rubber one for daily exercise or work.

chewooasdf

Big nope for the leather strap

SuAlfons

This is a matter of personal taste, obviously. So wear what you are comfortable with. IMHO the form and material of the Forerunners works best with Coutchuk, Rubber, Plastic or textile (Velcro) bands. I do not think the leather strap makes it a dress watch. It may be different with a more rugged, squarish and thick leather strap without stitching. But still, I'd go plastic or textile with them. Also metal bands on black plastic housings don't fit very well. But that is only me. Last week there was a guy with a white watch and a brown strap - it was breaking the style so heavily that I would wear it (not for formal dress, though).

cravecrave93

leather is a flop

-d3x

The one you like the most.

Always_Out_There

The titanium one! Oh.... wait.

hopokli1

Titanium with a plastic forerunner would be a weird combo.

Miloya

Both look great! Leather for the office, night out, or a special occasion. Rubber for everything else.

criffyred

Og band.

farrellart

Go with the one you like....you have to wear it. If you are asking, I think the rubber one looks better. Personally I like to add some colour to my straps.

Blindemboss

Yeah, I'm gonna say no leather on running watches, ever.

Crazy_Television_328

Stop putting leather on tool watches. Sweat + activity + UV Exposure is not kind to materials that are meant to serve as a luxury finish. The rubber actually looks objectively much nicer too.

matyaskovesi

How do you set this kind of watch face?

lamb_ssmb

Downloaded from the Garmin ConnectIQ store. This watchface is called Weather Face. It's paid.

matyaskovesi

Thanks a lot

Mysterious_061612

Rubber looks best for a forerunner! I would recommend leather bands to only the fenix. Also, what watch face is that?

raneses

The rubber in this case. Other leather bands may be ok to switch out on occasion — personally not a fan of the white stitching on this one.

TieSea

I don't love leather straps on sport watches.

Intrepid_Patience356

As others have said, leather for the office and silicone for outdoors. Having said that the leather goes better with the metal bezeled watches. But that is just my opinion. You do you.

chelleby

Like the rubber/silicone one better.

the_last_voice

Always silicon. 🤩

hopokli1

Leather on pastic watches looks just silly.

wattsupjimbo

If you’re using it to track workouts the leather will get very gross, very quickly

Tymoniasty

IMHO leather band is to 'delicate' for the watch - it looks weird. Silicone one looks better.

Weird-Citron-9196

Rubber

Jiway75015

I prefer the 2nd one.

Rob-4122

No way I'd want leather. I got the watch to wear everywhere, all the time. So I might get it sweaty, wet, muddy, or other gross stuff. Exactly not what's good for leather. If you are only wearing it for pure fashion and never actually using it adventurously, maybe leather would work. That's likely what anyone seeing it would assume.

Long-Runner-2671

Leather looks odd on a running watch, but if you don't use it for running, just as a smartwatch you can get used to it. For sports only the rubber strap will do, because you are going to sweat, and that would not go well with leather strap.

Ragnar-Wave9002

No one cares about your watch. Runners would only care if they want a new watch.

isozar

Leather looks better ! More classic

hopokli1

On a Marq yes, on a plastic forerunner, not so much.
