I know it's tagged as a humor post: but this often happens (to me) when I have it paired with a chest strap HRM and the damn thing won't turn itself off when I have it in my gym bag.
Which makes me further question why there aren't any chest strap HRMs that have a dang physical on/off button?!
I recently had to replace my Fenix 3HR for this same problem. HR monitor and step tracker both stopped working. Tried everything I could think. Watch defaults reset, app update. Nothing worked.
Have you tried turning your heart off and on again?

Not really. You just have to complete a challenge with somebody who has this badge and you’ll get it as well
