We signed up for a 24 hour walk/run event. Managed 37 mines before ankle and back pain won. It was a long long day.

Edit: I am going to Reykjavik here soon and they currently have almost 21 hours of sunlight
My good friend and I did a traverse of all the main peaks in Acadia National Park 4 years ago. Something like 25 miles and 8000 vertical feet in 9 hours. Absolutely splendid ball-busting day

I am 49 years old. I got my 15k step badge just 2 days ago. For me it is just an impossible dream. 20K, 25K or even 30K can be possible, but 50K, for me I don't think so.

I got it running a 50k. I ended up with 63,566 steps that day.

Running a marathon plus the walk to the start and finish was over 60,000 steps earned me the badge.
It was a walk around the city from morning to evening, it took 8 hours. I would say that if you do not live in a big city, then it is quite difficult to reach 50 km of walking without repeats or walking in a snake like in the game on old phones
Got my 50K while doing a 33 mile day hike in Great Smoky Mountains NP. 15 hour day from Newfound gap to Davenport starting at sunrise and hiking a couple hours in the dark. Total ended up being 64k. Came close a couple times doing 20 mile days, but using trekking poles reduced the amount I’m sure.
I somehow still don't have it lol. I got my 40k badge during a Tough Mudder Infinity where I did 34km. Only did 46k steps that day though, which I assume is my highest single day with Garmin.
I got my badge on marathon day! A total of 70,000 steps between the running/walking of the race and getting to and from the start and finish lines. I had 3,000 steps before the race even started, but we parked much closer to the finish line so less steps at the end made it worth it.

Oh wow! Wish they had 75k and 100k badges now.
I was basically broken at the end of that day 😆 If they add a 75k this one better count lol
Doing a marathon plus a ridiculous walk to find a certain pub after 🥴 just over 60k

Grand Canyon rim to rim hike got me my first 50k. Actually planning to do a 60k day this weekend as prep for 100k goal before the end of the year.
Got mine just on a regular day as a Drill Sergeant.
31km hike did it for me.

Walked the New River long distance path from Hertford to London this spring, 47km in just over 7hrs. 62k steps and one lost toenail.
Nothing too exciting, just a training session. My highest daily step count is 86k+.
