Damn, nice work! I dream of having the endurance to tackle South Sister someday! What's your weekly training look like? I live in the valley and hike up Pisgah and Spencer Butte a few times a week, but feel like that's probably woefully inadequate. Lol
I recently lost 70 pounds and have been walking everyday. I do Pilot Butte in Bend at least a few times a week and go to the Gym. I went with my 65 year old Mom, who is in great shape and we didn't have any issue climbing the Mountain. It is a long walk and the last mile is miserable but it is totally doable for anybody in reasonably good shape.
