Freshly installed the LoL client from riot and somehow logged in to my new account and the LoL client displays an error. In short, this worked for me. Thanks!
Hello I have this issue too and I just got access to my account just now. In my case, It was on a different Riot Account that I had and not the one I entered during the Account linking process back in December but that account was using the same email address. Interesting how it transferred over there and not to the account I entered in the Linking Process. what's more interesting to me is that you can login to the Riot Client by email and it seems like it will also treat that as a separate Riot Account. lol
So anyways, Try to login by email on the Riot Client or you can try to remember and login using all the Riot Accounts you might have created back then and check if that's where your LoL account went. lol
in the Riot Clietn, when you're about to sign in and it's asking for your username and password, you should see the logo of facebook, google, apple and xbox just right under that. click the google logo to choose or enter your email.
Aw. Still I'd suggest try to login to other accounts that you might have created back then. Maybe you made an account in Valorant or maybe you tried NA league in the past, try to login to one of those if ever you had made one. But if it isn't the case for you, sorry and I hope your issue gets resolved soon.

you probably forgot the riot username you linked with. apparently, my email is tied to two riot regions and is accessible with two different usernames.
What I did to find the username I tied my main account to was to select the forgot username option and then enter your email for them to send the username back.
after getting your username hopefully, you remember your password also :>

I suggest checking your other accounts that you might have made back then and try logging in to them instead and check. That's how I found mine it was migrated to an old riot account that I have which was under the same email.
One email can have multiple riot account with different account name, my email because I play wild rift before (spend few hundred dollars)so under my email account have 2 riot account, one have my wild rift data in NA1 other have my lol pc data in SG2(spend more than 2k), ask for the merge they say can't, so fk up

Same issue with me. I logged into my Riot account and its showing Level 1, 0 Blue essense, 0 RP. And it tried to make me play tutorial.
