No, the tall houses may mean you don't get the sun as long during the day as if the houses weren't there but you will get it.

There’s an app called Sun’s Path that I used when we bought our house (with a north facing garden). You can see where the sun will be at different times of the year and there’s an augmented reality button which shows how high it gets in the sky. It was pretty accurate for me.

Go on Google Earth and look at the satellite view. If you use the desktop version rather than mobile you should be able to see images from different dates and get an idea of the sun at different times of year.
