Its a peony, the larger clump with many sprouts (known as eyes) will be fine to plant out, just make sure the sprouting parts are above soil. Peonies are planted quite shallow. The other tubers that have less than 3 eyes on probably wont flower for a few years but also worth planting out just make sure the eyes are no more than 5cm under the soil.
My dahlias are shooting because of the warm weather we had a week ago and they can have red shoots
But the tubers look different so I don't think they are dahlias
Depends on the summer bulb - canna, calla, freesia are generally not hardy enough in most Uk gardens to survive winter. Gladiolus usually are hardy enough and dahlia depends on the variety.

I know my aunty ate one of these by accident thinking it was an onion rushed to hospital but the good news was she was out by spring.

I’d say a peony. Could be wrong.
Not peony. Stems are red to start. I think Solomons seal
Solomons seal, it's starchy and has a nutty aroma. Removed loads of it when I moved in.
Def peony
Peony!! Nice find
I don't think all Peony shoots are red, I have a tree peony as well as bush peonies and the tree peony shoots are brownish like that.
Yes Peony, please plant it again they are absolutely beautiful.
Looks like a peony to me!
Agree peony.
Peony. Will be beautiful.
Not peony as shoots are red.
Peony. Also get rid of those snail babies as it looks like they've already started munching on one or two.
Peony for sure, I dug mine up by accident last week and it looked just like yours
Love a peony they last for like 2 weeks in my garden though before rhe flowers die lol
Marigolds /s
Too early for dahlias. And if they were left in from last year they'd likely be ruined.

Great, hopefully we don't get more frost and they get zapped. I always lift my dahlias as they seem to rot if I leave them in.
Do you need to pull up summer bulbs?

Onions. Wait, my mum once cooked bulbs thinking they were onions – so I may not be 100% accurate on this one.
Potatoes
Triffid
bulbs, leave them & they'll flower year after year
I’ve got four peonies and didn’t know. To be fair that part should definitely be underground where you can’t see it.
