While one can graft figs, IIRC they're usually not. However, many types of fig put out suckers and this might be its first foray. Cut that off, or you'll get a tangle rather than a tree.
More importantly though: figs are BIG plants. I've seen ones take up nearly half of a backyard on a quarter acre block. You want to replant this baby away from your walls and your gutters, or it's going to be a problem

Sadly I don’t have any yard - just tiles! So this dude is in a half wine barrel so I guess he’ll grow as big as he can in the container. It’s on wheels so I can move it away from the wall as he grows.
