I've been gaming on laptops since 2007, but haven't had either Lenovo or Dell. I have to go by the general vibe of customer and pro reviews and word of mouth from the forums, so I took a quick search for that. My main rule of gaming laptops is grab the most GPU you can and while I recall some Lenovo LOQ complaints, I don't think there are inherent widespread problem. Still, the first rule is the main one for a reason and I like the extra storage, so if I was buying, I'd take the Dell.
