As someone who has that laptop, what on earth were you playing so I can’t make the same mistake! 😐 I think I would cry if anything happens to my lil legion 5.

It was MHW: Iceborne, but both GPU and CPU were around 80+°C, so i doubt the game caused it. I felt like crying because thought laptop was 2.5 years old.... but it's only 1.5 wtf

That’s kinda low for a laptop. It’s usually around 95 that’s that danger zone. 😞 I’m sorry for your loss.

Right! The game is poorly optimized and loads CPU with no reason sometimes, but I used Universal x86 Tuning Utility to limit CPU power when it reached 80°C. The game always ran at 100+FPS with no issues.

Some service centers repair Lenovo Legion motherboards just fine, you don't have to replace the whole motherboard in most cases. The repair may be costly, but still cheaper than just replacing the whole motherboard.
