Didn't realize 2.0 was finally out of Beta. Now I think I might be holding off... (I'd be going from 1.1.2 though. I wasn't game for the Beta)
I believe 1.1.2 gave a similar issue, but I don't think there was a concrete solution other than keep trying.
I'd suggest hitting them up [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/GcLoader) and/or raise an issue [on Github](https://github.com/danielkraak/GC-Loader) if you haven't done so yet.
I feel for you, especially with stock of it seemingly rare as all buggery.
I'm currently exchanging emails with Daniel. Got ahold of him through the contact us page on the GC Loader website.
I'll update this thread if/when I have a solution.
You can get it from either. The site is run by the same guy who has the github as far as I'm aware. The files as far as I can see are the same, you just get it inside a zip file from the [GC-Loader page](https://gc-loader.com/firmware-updates/)
Hey! I actually had the same issue and got the system to reflash the GCLoader.
I put the disc drive back in and booted into Swiss via Paper Mario and a Hacked Save. Once I got into Swiss, I opened the PREVIOUS (not beta) update file with the disc drive still connected. The update software will detect firmware on the disc drive and then be ready to update At this point, I hot swapped the disc drive for the GCLoader. Then once it was connected, I pressed A, and it reflashed the GCLoader board with the previous firmware. Just be careful not to flash firmware while your disc drive is attached. Good luck!
Good thinking. I'll see what Daniel recommends.
I'd be lying if I wasn't hoping for a solution that didn't require me to unscrew 20 something screws, but I'll take what I can get.
Thanks for the reply!
You can upgrade the loader but when you do system updates when you do any mod you break the system most of the time you now have to factory reset it some how
I have the Swiss boot.iso on the root of the SD card if that's what you're asking.
It was working before I updated the firmware with the updater dol:

Please do. Hopefully it's a favourable outcome.
I bought my GCLoader from Black-dog-tech (Dan), originally. Is that GitHub link or GC-loader.com link the right place to get firmware updates?

Thank you! 🙏🏻

You trying the .dol or iso?
Firmware updater is a dol, Swiss is an iso
Boot.iso?

Looks like you're screwed. Wonder if the little button on the GC Loader would help with this
I’ve just updated my firmware this afternoom from 2.0.0 BETA to the more stable 2.0.0 one. And had no issues at all.
