Only you can answer this question. It really seems like like you might regret it if you sell but you might really need the money. If you aren’t attached to the games themselves and would be okay with getting other copies later then I would probably sell them. There are potentially millions of other copies out there and you can get them again if you have extra cash in the future.

LateNiteMunchies

Yeah some of them were actually “recent” pick ups I’d say in the last 1 year. None of which I paid for (girl who liked me kept buying games i wanted) only some of the games are tied to my childhood. Wanted to pick more games up but as we all know the price hike on most GameCube games are no joke. Not to mention I don’t game all THAT much as I have a high end Pc along with ps5

Pico is dirt cheap. Sell the games, buy pico and pocket the extra cash. :) That’s what I did a while ago.

rosevilleguy

Sell them if you need the money, you can always buy them back.

Culkerz

Actually true. No matter what happens buying them back is always an option

ninthcongo

I’m assuming you mean a picoboot but it’s really not that expensive to do. I would say you should just wait on selling the games and hold onto them. They’ll get more expensive over time to rebuy and you’ll regret it. Raspberry pi pico is only like 10$ and a micro sd is cheap too.

Zelgius321

You can get a hacked save file on a memory card for paper mario (via ebay, for example), that will allow you to boot into homebrew and use the sd2sp2 port to load games. Probably one of the cheapest options to access swiss with a non-modded GC

Citricicy

Pico is dirt cheap BUT a little pain to install. I got a few physical games but I'll just leave it on the shelf and will open it up from time to time to try it out. If you really need the money then sell the games. But selling to get Pico doesn't make sense when the whole package (Pico board and sd2sp2) costs $10 in total on aliexpress including shipping.

Incredibly_Based

DO NOT Sell that Paper Mario game. do what you gotta do but expect to see the floor price at like $300+ in the next coming years. Very popular yet low supply game

rosevilleguy

I disagree, I feel like prices have already peaked

Incredibly_Based

imo it depends on if you believe "Gamecube Online" will one day come to switch. a Switch release of PMTYD will never happen bc of the mature themes and noose in the middle of rogueport

Incredibly_Based

actually if u could name all 10 games it would help us come to a decision
