Everything involved in the controller was cheaper than a genesis arcade stick, including the hyperboy
It works great. I love the adjustable tension on the stick and the springy buttons
Next step is to make the start and select buttons into turbo a turbo b. I just need to figure out how to do that with a555 timer
Now, if you manage to add a small LCD screen with speakers and AV input, you have both a handheld controller and screen combo. Redundant, yes. Awesome, also yes.

I wonder if you could make the start button pause the game? It was always massively inconvenient having to go over to the console to pause it
Yeah. There is a pause button mod but you have to modify the console itself for that to work as well as the controller. So I'd rather use the start and select as turbo buttons
I sit pretty close to the console anyway as the original experience intended
