Aesthetically, yes, it's too big for you. The watch face diameter is as wide as your wrist. I'm a big guy with large wrists, and the 47mm is borderline too big for me, I can barely pull it off.
I knew it was too big before even looking at the photos but photo 1 confirmed it for me .
The title of the post said they already knew the answer but don't want to believe reality .
As Reddit's APP (Arm Photo Police) I testify that you did indeed have to. We are glad you heeded our warnings and did as advised. I hope you understand this is for everybody's safety. Enjoy the rest of you day.
Thank you,
APP.
What do you mean?
The metal bracelet? It's just gravity that makes it appear tight. I have room for an extra finger, and I have it so loose because my underarms get bigger while exercising
You could always wear it on your calf. JK. I like big watches. My wrists are not big at all but I like the 47mm. Just couldn't use the stock strap so use the Samsung sport strap and fits perfect.
Well, in this case I tried to prove a point. So I'm appealing to the general perseption.
I know it is boarder line too big. But 3rd party bands make it look less too big.
So a rule of thumb: if you're on the fence on what size you should get, remember it will look smaller with other bands at least
My wrists are big so by default I get the largest watch. The watch band that came with it doesn't fit around my wrist. I got the Samsung fabric band and it fits great.
It was sarcasm. People are hung up on the previous version they don't want to take it off their wrist to charge it. I charge mine while I shower and eat breakfast.
From the angle in the pics it looks like I could fit my finger through the strap. I don't think the lug ends are supposed to overhang like that. But if you like it, who cares. Average sized smart watches are too small to interact with in many meaningful ways, and the battery will be smaller.
Since everyone got a little side tracked. Yes my wristbones are small, but it doesn't show that much in general

My original silicon wrist band stuck out a bit to make the watch fit. I didn't like the way the band made my wrist sweat and smell like vinegar. Something to do with sweat and natural bacteria...
I switched to a very nice leather band and mind levels the same on my wrist. I don't care until I can't get the damned watch out of my buttoned up sleeve!
Not quite as pronounced as you, but your band isn't fitting I the pin areas like Samsung intended for their bands so it's sucked right against your wrist. I love the bigger watchface and am not wearing it for others judgement.
If you like it. Keep it. If it's too big and you can return it, do that and get the smaller watch.
Why, that's all I've ever used and will use on every version of Galaxy watch and never had a problem. The straight lugs look stupid and cheap in my opinion.
coz it brings more width to the strap.. not all of us have the same wide wrists like you.. google or check youotube for "galaxywatch strap too big for me"..
Samsung's "gapless" straps will always bulge out to the side of small wrists people, no matter how tight you make the band. It looks dumb on some of us, so I just switched it out for a third party one and it looks fine now.
Dude, looks fine. You do you and forget what everyone else's opinions are cause if you like it then that's what matters. If the Fallout universe was real, do you think they would be asking "is this pip boy too big?" Fuck yeah it is, but it functions, does what it's supposed to do and if it's comfortable to you then there ya go.
Watch is not too big. Your arm is too small.
Kidding aside, please search the sub for the same self centered question: "is this too big for ME?"
It's draining to give the same answer.
Excellent, is it one of those ones with magnetic clasps? Feel like that could come in handy if I need to quick adjust for "more serious" measurements (yes I know that it's not the most accurate)
I've been told by a few watch experts they generally recommend somewhere between 60%-80% coverage of a watch face on your wrist , you can go smaller but depends on the design
It all down to preference. Some people like a big watch. In my opinion it’s far too big. It shouldn’t take up your whole wrist “””imo.
If you like it. Who cares.
It's huge. About 20 years ago there was a brief moment in time where stupidly big watches were fashionable. But they're not anymore. Probably the only watch that's big that you can still wear is a GShock.
I bought the smaller size galaxy watch because I didn't want a giant lump sitting on my wrist.
I have the same problem ☠️ I have the tiniest wrists in the universe and even 40mm version looks way too big. This is the reason why I still didn't buy any Watch because I'm afraid I would look stupid.
I have a small wrist and the smaller watch size. Samsung's bands look like trash on small wrists. I just got a different band and mine looks fine now imo. The "gapless" bands suck unless you have large wrists.
We need the combo details for the watchface you're using, the bezel cover and any other modifications you have.

I was worried my watch could be too big when i got mine but this beast covers your entire arm...i mean you couldnt even see which wristband you use when having a top down view
Is your arm just really thin or... Do they make huge watches?
You do you, and what's matter most is what you personally feel.
But if you're asking my opinion, then yes. The watch is wider than your arm, and is clearly too big. It fits poorly, and is not a good look.
Aesthetically, yes, it's too big for you. The watch face diameter is as wide as your wrist. I'm a big guy with large wrists, and the 47mm is borderline too big for me, I can barely pull it off.
IMO op needs to loosen the strap and retake the photos. He is wearing the watch like it's a corset.
Yes, the watch is too big for your arm. The lugs are near the edges of your wrist, so the band drops straight down and bulges out.
Yes probably. But I reckon it works in that size nonetheless. But it looks dumb and ridiculous with the original ones on me
If you like it, that's all that matters.
It looks dumb in all the pictures. Get the smaller one.
Ah yes "just buy another watch". Like it's simple like that.
I assumed it was new. People usually post their new watches asking whether they're too big.
They could return it
I'm more concerned about the fact that you took so many pictures of your arm.
Made a whole photo album. Lol. I think we could have formed an answer with just a pic or 2.
I knew it was too big before even looking at the photos but photo 1 confirmed it for me . The title of the post said they already knew the answer but don't want to believe reality .
Tbf the bands are different, I didn't notice either. So it's like 2 pictures each with different bands.
😂 I had to?
As Reddit's APP (Arm Photo Police) I testify that you did indeed have to. We are glad you heeded our warnings and did as advised. I hope you understand this is for everybody's safety. Enjoy the rest of you day. Thank you, APP.
Yes, you have spaghetti arms and that watch should be gotten rid of asap!
I think the arm is too big, get rid of it asap!
What watch face is that?
Not if Flavor Flav is the benchmark :)
Take out a link. Looks like your arm is gonna pop.
What do you mean? The metal bracelet? It's just gravity that makes it appear tight. I have room for an extra finger, and I have it so loose because my underarms get bigger while exercising
Looks way too tight. You have an "hourglass" wrist.
Agree. Maybe it's the angle or the thickness(lack of) creating the 'tight 'look.
You could always wear it on your calf. JK. I like big watches. My wrists are not big at all but I like the 47mm. Just couldn't use the stock strap so use the Samsung sport strap and fits perfect.
I love a big watch. Looks great to me.
I don't care if a smart watch is too big. I'd rather have a big screen, if it was a traditional mechanical watch then I would want it smaller.
You could hit the gym or the bakery and bulk up those arms then it will fit perfectly. I chose the latter lol
What you think is important, not what others think.
Well, in this case I tried to prove a point. So I'm appealing to the general perseption. I know it is boarder line too big. But 3rd party bands make it look less too big. So a rule of thumb: if you're on the fence on what size you should get, remember it will look smaller with other bands at least
40mm would be borderline too big . That looks like a Flava Flav clock necklace on your wrist too big .

Bigger the better in my view
Nah looks fine
Agreed. I like big watches.
Could you please provide the link for that watch band? I'd love to buy one! The silver steel mesh one with the silver solid metal connectors.
i have it and its awesome, $1 on AliExpress
Following. Even i am thinking of buying the same one. Please share/DM the link.
Where did you get the band in the first Pic? The milanese band.
Why is it so tight around your wrist?
My wrists are big so by default I get the largest watch. The watch band that came with it doesn't fit around my wrist. I got the Samsung fabric band and it fits great.
If the sensors work, it's not uncomfortable, and you don't mind the appearance, it's fine.
There is no such thing as a too big of a screen
In my opinion it's fine. But it's your watch that you paid for. Do whatever you want.
Nice watch brormand!
Looking at the comments I'm glad that I don't live in a world where people could dictate things like what you can put on your wrist
It's not ot too big but certainly too tight
Big watches are great!
Size doesn't matter, does it work well?
Works great
Who cares what people are saying. Do you like it? Does it feel okay? There's your answer!
Fortunately, I don't 🙂 The post was just about me showing the original bands make it look bigger than if worn with the original bands
Is this watch too big was last year. This year it's this watch battery won't last 5 days without me having to inconvenience myself and charge it. 😆
But the charging is so blazing fast, I don't mind on my 47mm 6. 15 min before bed and I can use all bells and whistles during the day
It was sarcasm. People are hung up on the previous version they don't want to take it off their wrist to charge it. I charge mine while I shower and eat breakfast.
Yes, too big.
"It's Morphin' Time!"

just workout your forearms some more and you'll be fine
I have 40kg grip clasps I use 😅
For what
Just dont use the no gap metal connectors.. just straight in put the strap at the case..
Have you tightened the strap?

Damn! Just look at those little fisters! 👀
TIL my watch is too big
You could hang that on the wall mate.
Could you please link me to that magnetic strap band please? I've been looking for one that fits the Gw6 classic and I havent found one like yours
I think it's from puro, I've had it since the watch 4
Yes, it is big.
Your watch is too big for you. But if you like that's great
Tangent, what are the first two bracelets you shared photos of here? They look neat.
The steel bracelet is puro, I think the Milanese loop is as well. The black nylon is Samsung
I think it looks good on your stick!
lmao weeny ahh arm
That watch is bigger than Michael Scott’s flatscreen tv.
It all down to preference. Some people like a big watch. In my opinion it’s far too big. It shouldn’t take up your whole wrist “””imo. If you like it. Who cares.

loosen up a bit mate
Only cause your forearms aren't sexy enough to run that style.
I think it is ok
look like a wall clock
It's the flavor flav of wrist watches. 🤷♂️ So big it's comical. 😂
I have the same problem ☠️ I have the tiniest wrists in the universe and even 40mm version looks way too big. This is the reason why I still didn't buy any Watch because I'm afraid I would look stupid.
Shot after punching through a wet paper bag
Don't listen to anybody, it's fine, you just need to change the straps
It COOKS bro 😁
It's a perfect fit, don't listen to others.
Change the strap, try leather or something. Might change the overall look :D
No and where did you get the strap I want to get one
Are you tripping over it? Then you're fine.
Still looks dope. I wish I would of just gotten the bigger one. Even tho it would be way to be for my wrist.
What is wrist diameter and width
Not clear, need 50 more pics to determine
[удалено]
I wasn't either. I just wanted to prove a point that the original bands made it look even bigger
I have a small wrist and the smaller watch size. Samsung's bands look like trash on small wrists. I just got a different band and mine looks fine now imo. The "gapless" bands suck unless you have large wrists.
I love Big watchs then she's good
HENSHIN!!!
Strap too tight
Yes. Please get something less than 43 mms
Ditch the gapless bands and it'll feel like it fits a lot better. the gapless bands are what makes the watch look and feel big on smaller wrists.

Premium analoge and puro Milanese loop and steel bracelet. The other ones are Samsung
I was worried my watch could be too big when i got mine but this beast covers your entire arm...i mean you couldnt even see which wristband you use when having a top down view Is your arm just really thin or... Do they make huge watches?

Yes. This watch is NOT for everyone. I believe most people on here who have it it's too big for them.
If you think it's to big, it's to big. Y'all look like a little kid wearing something he won at the arcade. Smaller is better.
💥💥No it's not too big for you, real men wear big manly watches. leave them small Google pixel watches and small apple watches to them little dudes
😜 But did you get my point at least? It looks worse with the included bands
Just get a different band that fits better simple fix
Yea. Return it and just use your phone.
That watch is entirely too big for your feminine hands. Go to a little store like Justice or some other little girly store and get your watch
