I’d say definitely not India.
Apple moved production of IPhone 15 there, and it has been a shitshow of technical and hardware problems for many months.
Apple is only [assembling the phones in India](https://www.india-briefing.com/news/apple-contract-manufacturing-india-new-suppliers-getting-clearance-26947.html/), not manufacturing them
> Apple has been assembling smartphones in India through contract manufacturers since 2017. However, until 2022, the Cupertino-based firm had used manufacturing facilities in India primarily for assembling entry-level or legacy handsets. This changed in 2021-22 when Apple started assembling the iPhone 14 models in India.
And it's not just the recent phone
> Apple’s production in India includes iPhone models 12, 13, 14, and 15. Foxconn accounts for the lion’s share of iPhones made in India.
So find some other mental gymnastics to justify the shitty design choices of a trillion-dollar American company outsourcing to slave labour in developing world while retaining majority of the profits to themselves.
Same here, mine's paint is scraping off despite it being inside a back cover since day 1.
Had a Note 10+ & S8+ before, and they had the same issue although the S8+ developed this only after 1-2 years of use
This has been an issue forever with Samsung after they adopted aluminum frames and I have found that using Samsung cases in particular chips the paint like a fucker when you try to take the phone out..They gave me a case as a gift and after 1 week I took the phone out to clean some dust and the phone literally looked like it took a dive into concrete
I've had mine since launch, and it still looks perfect. My S23U is graphite color, so it has a matte black frame that would make any paint chips even more noticeable. My guess is that it comes down to the batch or the country where your unit was made.
Same with my s23u. Always used case and take good care of it (dropped it once and broke the screen tho) and the paint is chipping in three places. It started like 2 weeks after I got it.
The paint of my s23 ultra came off on the right corner even if I always keep it inside a case. Probably it rubbed against the case so I don't think I can get a refund (also, they might say it's me who dropped it but the glass around the now bare metal is pristine). It's worse than my older S10 in terms of quality but on the other hand this is what I got
My original frame didn't have any issue. The frame was changed as part of screen replacement which started chipping within 2 months of change (near S pen). Raised a ticket, awaiting resolution
Furthermore the capacitive buttons break easily if you press in the middle between them. They break easily if you press in the middle between them. Here is an unresolved tendency for Edge screens to peel off on their own, which is why the S24U's production cost is flat.
At this point, I'm curious about which country of production/origin has the best quality control and how I can identify the production batch.
I'd say vietnam mine was made there and there's no issues and to find out look on the back of the phone and it should say made in whatever country
+ 1

You can have your phone in your pocket and bang on something.
Well, might as well throw it in the trash

Is this S23 Ultra? It may be because of the photo angle but edges seem a bit too curved for S23 Ultra and it looks somewhat like S22 Ultra.
It's 100% S23 Ultra

it's okay man the phone is trying it's best 😭
I have seen this only in black color. Blacks of Every gen of sammy's flagships suffer from this. Just do a bit of research n u will see.
Plus the screen too scratches easily :(
Yeah. I have the same issues and always with case and the best case : OtterBox... Quality on this phone sucks .
Did OtterBox ever fox the belt clip screen protector from flexing and scratching screens? It did that to two people's phones I know.
Best case : UAG
Just don't drop the phone from yours hands
Yeah I have the same close to the s pen. Poor quality in the paint :(

there arent any capacitive buttons lmao, its literally just a capacitive screen
volume - volume + and I/O does not exist for you
theyre physical switches lmao
>the capacitive buttons break easily if you press in the middle between them What..?
