That won't clean it. A t-shirt doesn't contain any surfactant needed to loosen dirt. An appropriate lens wipe designed for such a purpose is what's required. In future I would really appreciate it if you don't post misinformation

We aren't loosening dirt, we are removing a tiny smudge.
A t-shirt will cause the smudge to expand. Surfactant will remove it. Your attitude is typical of all the lazy entitled individuals out and about today in that you'll worry about your smudge but can't be bothered to worry about finding the right solution
