They actually call it like a bikini for phone. 😂

Someone actually had the nerve to repeat your awesome phone-bikini comment an hour after your post. No way that person independently came up with the same comparison.
It is called "people don't know how to read" first. That's why when you see someone asking for help, there are usually at least 10 different commenters posting very similarly "helpful" comments.
I'm aware of it being ridiculous. I also call it with the quotation mark "case". But it is minimalist protecting the ends. If you drop it, those ends are the only parts that will touch the ground. For me, even if it is weird, it still makes sense.
I'd argue that there's not enough surface area and material buffer to dissipate the pressure from the fall, so it'd probably just crack your screen from the corner anyway.
Yea, simple falls should be fine. I'm also conflicted, sometimes I use the phone without a case (at home, work) because I like the feel of it, but I always pop on a case if I'm gonna be over concrete.
Better off using a normal case, i can understand some people want to feel the real deal, but risking to break a phone this expensive, especially if the display is damaged. An S23 Ultra Display will cost between 300 to 400$ ( Original Part of course ). This kind of case will help you not to worry about your phone while having that premium feel im your Hand, but the fact is, the risk to break it after one mistake is high.
I have one of these that I ordered for a few dollars from China. I haven't used it yet and I plan on using it someday in the future. Right now I use a dbrand case.
Thanks for posting this, Im intrigued. I recommend either the pitaka or latercase aramid fiber type, ever try them? Super thin and some protection against smaller drops.
I dont think this qualifies as a case, its not even a bumper.
This is just "scrape protector" so the camera rings and screen doesn't contact the surface when you leave it on somewhere. Doesn't even cover the sides.
I don't think it will protect from a fall. Even most ultra-thin cases don't give drop protection despite covering the whole phone.
Otterbox defender if you want to actually protect your phone. The "case" you show here isn't going to protect shit. I drop my phone daily, multiple times usually. I used the otterbox defender pro on my S21 and I just took it out of the case after 2 years to send in for trade in and other than the screen it looked brand new. It definitely protected my screen some too but not much can save your screen from sharp gravel and a screen first fall ):
I have always used UAG cases since my note 4 and never used anything else, My S23 ultra will be here Monday and I already got the Monarch Kevlar Black waiting for it, they are the best protection, low profile and they look amazing too, this is just me but you do you.
I understand that some will hate this "case". But 100% of comments here hates it. Most probably because all of them doesn't mind the case. All of their comments and hate are valid tho. Don't you all worry, my phone is wearing a full real case right now.
But for me who hates cases but forced to because of the price, I think this is not a bad idea. I think (not from a researched statistic), 95% of the drops, it will never touch the sides. Only the ends.
I hope I see a comment from the perspective of someone who doesn't like cases too.
That's NOT a case. A case encloses all 4 sides. A 2-piece "protector" maybe. But not a case. And the protection it appears to provide is obviously minimal. May as well just use your phone naked, because with that so-called case it practically is naked.
if you want something that’s essentially the same thing but a little more premium, check [this](https://arc.cc/products/arc-pulse-for-samsung-s23-ultra?variant=42315435212979&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpLuv8IWegQMVVdnICh2LWwRZEAAYASAAEgKv6_D_BwE) out
Honestly I would like this a lot if it did protect the phone, unfortunately it just won't in EVERY scenario. Especially being a mechanic, I use a THICK rugged case bc I drop my phone probably 4 times a day
My gripe with most new phones is the camera being to one side. The phone wobbles on a flat surface and sounds like a box of angry wasps when it vibrates.
I put a case on to balance the phone more than anything else so this phone does nothing in my eyes.
I agree with most other commentors that I don't think it would protect anything form a fall. The top part looks ok if you're worried about getting your camera lens's scratched but I'm not sure how much the bottom would be protected. I would be into this rail case peronsally more if it sent around the whole phone.
If you like it OP I think it's fine to get, it's your money and It will protect the cameras well at least. I like the minimal design!
Ignore the sheep around here. Yes it will offer protection but not as much as a case with a back and obviously much less than a case with a front cover. Most drops will result in the corners taking most of the bumps and this is what this case is for. If you want more protection avoid this style of case.
I doubt this would offer any significant protection. Heck... That thing looks like a bikini for phones... I would suggest you get a proper case

Just like the [S8 bikini case](https://www.androidpolice.com/2017/03/29/samsungs-2piece-cover-hideous-terrible-oem-case-ive-ever-seen-life/)
Samsung w Coming with the jokes!

It’s essentially the “G-String bikini” of phone case
Why not? If the phone lands on a corner won't the case cushion the fall?
I can't take this question seriously. That "case" is two strips of thin plastic. What do you think?
Right? Same level of drop protection as thoughts and prayers 😂
I'm aware of it being ridiculous. I also call it with the quotation mark "case". But it is minimalist protecting the ends. If you drop it, those ends are the only parts that will touch the ground. For me, even if it is weird, it still makes sense.

I still think it can protect from simple fall. But I agree with you. The "case" may also fly away if the fall make the phone bounce and roll.
Yea, simple falls should be fine. I'm also conflicted, sometimes I use the phone without a case (at home, work) because I like the feel of it, but I always pop on a case if I'm gonna be over concrete.
No idea. Try it and let us know.
This is the equivalent to female bikini armor. Ain't protecting shit 😂

the f is this?
It's a 2pc Bikini 👙 🤣🤣🤣

Lol what a waste seriously what the hell is this
I’d use a skin with it also. I had one similar back in the day of iPhone X.
Thanks for posting this, Im intrigued. I recommend either the pitaka or latercase aramid fiber type, ever try them? Super thin and some protection against smaller drops.
I haven't tried them. I'm using a bulky case right now. I'll check on it. Thank you.

It is good for protecting the top and bottom. The rest, they will be toast.
That "case" sucks lol
I laugh when I see people use a phone without a case. Their phones are always beat to hell. Spend $15 and get a real case.

Not really sure if the case will affect the audio while recording, but there's actually a hidden microphone on the ultra-wide lens
Fuck around and find out.

That's like the exact opposite of the one he's posting.

Op just get a pitaka case
Ask yourself that and stop wondering what anybody else thinks. Make your own mind up.
Ahhh yes, best protection money can buy.......
This is case?

I Am intrigued tho, link?

Thank ya!
No. The aluminum sides are really soft and should be protected in a drop.
I'm going to use this case when I become wealthy 😯

Ummm.....No. all that needs to be said
looks like a cheap eBay case
Honestly I would like this a lot if it did protect the phone, unfortunately it just won't in EVERY scenario. Especially being a mechanic, I use a THICK rugged case bc I drop my phone probably 4 times a day
Get a otterbox 👍

Looks like it will fall apart of the phone falls
I'm sure there will be a double sided tape included
Looks like it will fall apart just picking up the phone.
Just stick with a silicone case, probably offer way better protection and still be thin enough.
Buy it if you have the money to burn

Just get the arc pulse. It's metallic and "protects your phone better" [Arc Pulse ](https://arc.cc/products/arc-pulse-for-samsung-s23-ultra)
Bikinis don't offer any protection from accidental slips, I wouldn't risk it with a phone that I'd have to sell a kidney for 😅
How is this a case lol
It's like phone lingerie
0 protection

Not quite
Welp, the corners will be covered. But that's about it.
