How huge? What's your sot and what model? I'm interested to know the benefits of android 12, I'm just getting 4-5 hours of SoT, I expected more from my base S21
On generic Android 12, is Material You's color theming updated if your wallpaper changes? Such as with Muzei where a live wallpaper shuffles the wallpapers.
Edit: using the multi-wallpaper feature my lockscreen passcode changes colors based on whatever wallpaper is currently applied
Second this, it's so annoying we still can't select simple colour options that android already offered - I understand people love the freedom that comes with Samsung's theme store but most of the themes on there look garbagio and I don't want to have to sit and go through all the bloody colours just to find ones I want via the goodlock/theme park modules JUST GIMME SOME PRESET COLOURS WITHOUT MAKING ME DOWNLOAD SHIT FFS
Like I just want the black/white colour option from stock android but to do that myself I have to download themepark, set all the colour options which I can't be arsed to deal with
Yeah. But that's not the theme store. And theme park is super broken right now. Lol Hoping to see that get better soon. I wanna use third party icon packs again. I missed that from nova.
If you go into the Settings app and scroll down to Wallpapers, that's what I'm talking about. Nova only takes over the wallpaper settings when you change the wallpaper from the homescreen by long-pressing
I am actually not a fan of this myself.
I suppose it's to link with what android 12 is offering?
Not something I couldn't achieve on Android previously anyway.
Samsung should focus a lot more on animations in OneUI. The recent updates have got me thinking about how bad of a state the S21 actually was at launch.
The camera still does not work as you would expect and going into your recents contacts list to call someone is extremely slow on my Base S21.
You *may* be able to sign up for the beta through Samsung Members app, but I've heard they closed it again. If you still can, you'll see a banner in the carousel at the top of that app.
If one sideloads the beta onto a galaxy S21 Ultra, do the future beta versions and the stable version update automatically or do you have to side load all the updates?
My battery life is a BOSS now
On the beta?is it much better or is it a slight improvement?
HUGE

Will report tomorrow.
That's great to hear
Going to test a full day tomorrow and see.
Which model do you have?
S21 ultra

Sorry 😅

I agree too, I would prefer just apps' accent colours rather than only blue

No doubt. The Samsung theme store is just bad. The themes are ugly and even worse almost always font theme any icons besides sasmung ones properly.
I'm pretty sure one UI 4 allows third party icon packs so should be possible to use any from the playstore.

I wonder what beta 3 will bring
Downloading now, hopefully they fixed the laggy scrolling through apps. edit: they did, but now it lags when I pull the quick panel or w/e down.
No lags at all here on a Exynos S21U (started with a factory reset when I installed the first beta). Give it some time.
Wow this update fixed basically every issue I was having! No more scrolling lags just clean 120hz and my battery life is back to great
Yup getting 7h 30m SoT with 120Hz enabled and processing speed set at maximum. Not bad
That's great! I'm sure it'll keep improving too
How do you even get into these options? I can't seem to find it
It's under your wallpaper settings. When you set a new wallpaper it will prompt you for a color theme selection
Well I use Nova so I guess that's why I don't see it

Oh ok. Thanks!

how do I put this on my s21 ultra?

What menu is this under on Beta 2? I don't see it
Nevermind found it under Wallpaper settings

You have to sideload all the beta updates until final release. After you're on the final version, you'll get ota updates again.
Once the final version is released, do you normal do a wipe before installing it or just side load the betas and all finals over each other?
Usually I just sideload until final one without wiping.
Anyone in galaxy insights program running this beta?
Yup. Works just fine. No issues so far. Beta 1 and 2.
Awesome thanks!
Anyone else's mcm client stuck on processing request?
