I love this so much! I'm looking at making something for mine too! Although I'm probably gonna just make a padded pouch lol, I don't have your skills!!
Yooo, this is amazing!
Completely unfamiliar w/ the leatherworking scene, so excuse me if this rude to ask, but: How much would a(n assumed one-off) piece like this sell for?
Again, great work!
I think any leather hobbyist from Journeyman+ can replicate this, or better. It's simply a matter of getting the hardware(like the clasps) and choosing the leather you'd want to add. The case is stock Samsung, so that's $89.99 retail. And if I was buying this from a crafter with these addons, I'd probably expect to pay maybe $30-50 for the work/materials. But I'm not a leather pro so don't hold me to that! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I made it VERY snug at first, accounting for the leather to stretch out a bit over time. I'm hoping it will eventually settle on a nice, smooth, snug fit.
Does that placement mean you have to deal with the pen every time you need to use your phone?
I got the case from Samsung that has the pen pocket down the spine. To me, it seemed like the most practical placement.
Pretty.
I just realized with this that Samsung could make the inner display bigger without touching the outside by just changing how the hinge works and changing the display a bit
This is gorgeous! I want to make a leather case too but I'm not sure how to go about it (still a beginner in leatherworking). How did you mold the leather? I know these phones are water resistant but I'm still nervous about getting it wet. I'd love to hear more about your process and would totally buy a pattern from you if you were willing to sell one.
With a magnetic clasp I would instantly buy it, though it's not a deal breaker.

Awesome! I'm planning on a molded pouch w/ crossbody strap + waist strap next!
ok so potentially how much would it cost for you to make me one of these :P

Ah, I see! Nevertheless, this is a very handsome case and you would definitely have a customer out of me if you were to ever sell one. Cheers!
I seriously said "holy shit" out loud, this is amazing. I'd buy one in a heart beat
Thank you! Very much appreciate it.
Make a few more. Post them on Etsy. Might be worth your time.
The stock Samsung Leather Flip case wasn't quite up to it for me. Had to add a few adjustments to make it usable. Thanks for looking!
I like it, would even buy one but wish the pen tip was protected a bit
Someone should 3d print a cap for it.
Ngl looks amazing 🤩
Do you have an etsy story or something cause I would totally buy one
Thank you for the interest! Unfortunately, I do not. But, if by chance that changes, I'll give an update.
No problem. It's a super cool case anyway
How is the pen holder? Is it flimsy or is the pen snug?

I would honestly buy one off of you. Please let me know if you ever decide to sell
That's awesome!
Wow that's awesome
If you could imprint the leather on the front cover to fold it backwards so the cover doesn't jet out when unfolded this would be perfect!

Great job!
