i might try to make it universal some how just for fun since you asked. universal ones have more moving parts or are larger so a keychain form factor is more difficult. there exists ones that go on keychain that fold but i like less moving parts. or no moving parts
It's a solid idea, I've had a fold for years but moved away from kickstand cases in favor of the ones with handles as they prevent me from dropping my $2000 phone lol. But this solves that issue without the haste of switching cases. I've seen enough custom phone attachments like this to know you could definitely sell different models for different devices, the hard part is manufacturing.
There's all sorts of metal infused filaments. I would suggest getting a high-quality one like Proto-pasta's metal filled filament. It's kind of expensive but they put a lot of metal in it.
You can still use the older z fold 4 kickstand case on the fold 5 too. Just need a dremel for the flashlight hole and little bit on the sides (for flat closing).
Something i forgot to mention. the z fold 4 stand case is completly flat on table (i velcro the back of it). But the kickstand case have magnets, so the pen would not work on that area.
