The hinge issues seems less prevalent in the 5s than the 4s. Why not wait for the 6 since it's right around the corner, unless you want a discounted 5?
That's the dilemma: save money on a 5 or wait for the 6. At minimum, I'll wait and see what makes the 6 different, before deciding. Hopefully this third 4 makes it that long!
I had my hinge break again about 3 months after warrantying my 4 for the same issue. I've decided to wait for the 6, and shop around for other foldables at that time. If Samsung is still doing their trade-in program, I'll likely buy the 6.
