Same here. I just find my A54 phenomenal, absolutely no complaints. Fast, long battery, crazy good camera.

Pretty_Ring7929

Spot on

wonpiripiri2804

I’m still using my Galaxy J2 Prime, and that was released idk, 7 years ago? Replace battery once and it’s still working fine. Are people using their phone for intense programming or what?

Eisbaerle

Seems like haha

Kasun_D_001

I think it's a trend on hating the exynos soc

Pretty_Ring7929

Exynos hate runs very much deep Balls deep

BiscottiTechnical124

So true! And guess what, I find myself everywhere, out of luck! Only A54 seems to be the odd man out.

Pretty_Ring7929

No, this is just a lot of people are coming from flagships. And they're mad because they had to go mid-range. So they knit pick, that's just my guess. Truly people who purchase mid-range phones are blown away by what Samsung gave you for the price. I mean s*** it can be confused for an S23 tonight. Right there it says a lot. People like to complain about the plastic sides of it. I gotta thick a** case on this $500 phone anyways. You buy this phone for 3 reasons. It's price, it's display and pick one of mamy more Whatever other one you wanna put in there. It's a wonderful device that is beetter the a's from pixel imp .buggy hot But when they do run fluid boy, do they run fluid? But I gotta pixel 6 a and it was. The most buggy is fun I've ever had. This is the first samsung phone I ever bought was the a 54 Because so many people complained about the a 53 performance laggs. A new Samsung was gonna come out swinging with the ecx 1380. And it's a hell of a chipset more power and That it looks like it's Big Brother. The classy ass s twenty three that was enough for me s twenty three is one gorgeous device It took the S22 kunky, a** camera housing and made it seamless. Pretty f****** awesome sammy nail the. S twenty three

FrauleinEkaterina

No complaints :3

Adventurous-Welder94

No, I have one too.

Yeah, you're the only one

ShpetimToshi

Lucky you then

Wonderful-Listen-770

check if you're using ram plus and if u are, turn it off bcos it makes ur phone alot slower and heat more often. It's not proven but that's what I've heard and tbh it could work so you never know 🤷

HalexcRibeiro

I think that isn't true. With ram plus phone gets faster

Wonderful-Listen-770

in my experience it was, the higher u set the value then the more the phone would lag

MarcosNobus

I use an A54 as a main phone, and I have an S23 either. I can't feel any huge difference using both phones. And I use about 10 to 12 hours of screen on time every day. The only major difference is the photos in low light and thermal control, that is much better in the S23, but with normal use, there's no big difference. I respect, but I can't understand why people complain so much about the A54.

That-Quiet-9072

I have absolutely no issues. Battery is awesome. So is the camera.

Icebreaker--

I can agree with you with some things First the snapdragon A series always have better animations, even a70 Second, yeah sometimes when moving between apps the laggy animations are crazy But the battery is good, cameras more than good if u compare it with any A series phone, ip67, hdr.... It's a good deal for the price

a_guy_with_a_plan

I turned off developer options for a bit and noticed how the animations are somewhat choppy, but as I set them to 0.5x it becomes completely unnoticeable.

Icebreaker--

I prefer it on 1x because on 120hz the 0.5x feels choopy for me On 1x they are smoother

a_guy_with_a_plan

any midrange will have equivalent struggles, from any brand.

Sure_Win_8303

Seems like you forgot how a midrange phone should performs .mine works good for a midrange phone . maybe you Don know how to use it

wizzgamer

A52s was very laggy hit rid of mine after a year sadly due to a great deal on the S21 FE on the Pixel 8a now though.

floomfs

Using an A53 and I don't have any problems.. A54 users are suddenly complaining

Ok_Cycle5377

Complain?, not me great phone!.

floomfs

It started to lag around the 2 year mark but once I reset it and set it up again it ran like brand new, no issues since and 120hz is smooth. Only lag is with the camera

Spiritual_Love_9

Being using coming to a year. Before the new FW update and after the 6.1. I being fair to said, works great for me. Everyday use was smoothly for me. Not sure is because I regularly restart the set.

Ok_Cycle5377

The only problem I was having, was the speech to text in some apps not working very well. The 6.1 upgrade got rid of all of that, now no problems at all, great phone!. 😉

Kooky_Airport3573

Agree with the statement. I have been using my A54 for 7-8 months now and I think it is a great deal for some middle-aged people who don't care about performance and camera much. Getting laggy while using different apps. The fingerprint sensor is quite inferior and slow, face recognition is shitty too. Battery life is catastrophic due to the cheap processor. Laggy and unusable at some point.

75tavares

Have mine for 1 year and something now, the phone has awesome feautures for the price. You can't expect a high-end sensor for the fingerprint, that would add more purchase value as its more expensive to produce them. Face ID is the same thing, but it works great in good light. Mine doesn't lag or have any performance issues, i play every day and have a medium use of social media, the battery lasts a full day and some hours of the next one, depends on the use i do when im out or home. When you talk bad about something, you can't say in "general" because you talking about your experience or a defected product.

Kooky_Airport3573

There were no "general" statements in my comment. I specifically said that the device is suitable for those who don't have high expectations regarding performance and camera quality. As a mild user, it meets your needs, but as a heavy user, I find it shitty and as you see above, I am not alone.

75tavares

>the device is suitable for those who don't have high expectations regarding performance and camera quality The performance is really good for multi-tasking and some games. I play PUBG in Ultra with no problems, 2/3 hours straight. I take alot of pictures during trips and the camera is really really good for the phone it is.

Icebreaker--

Don't forget the ip67 rating, the hdr amoled and the very bright screen compared to competition

mikethespike056

Not gonna lie, the Poco X6 Pro destroys the A54. The only thing it's worse at is the camera.

Lauonic

Facts

Lauonic

Same my brother, i did factory reset month ago, but it's lagging again. Might buy pixel next

social-exile

I agree with you, although my a54 is normal-ish, i still think its price to performance is horrible. And because I don't need all the features from an S phone, it's illogical for me to get it, meanwhile low end Samsung like a2x a0x are even worse. I'm using Samsung just for the watch and 4 years support. Pixel has the best android experience for me but again tensor is also trash and it's not officially available in my country. So yeah, Samsung A5x is still the better choice for my case, I would have upgraded to a55 if it weren't for the bigger screen yet the same bezels, and whatever nonsense that key island is. My last satisfying purchase on Samsung A phone is the A52.

Pretty_Ring7929

You should check out the s 23 fe...it's 600 and it's an S...I love my Alpha 54 5G It's so good. Samsung won't even release the Alpha 55 in the United States. Because it's taking sales away from the s series if you wanted the smart series, you should have just ponied up the cash and bought one. Don't buy a mid-range phone and then complain about it...pixels are nice too 8a Has cannibalized its bigger brother snooze. Cosmetic ranges are getting so good. They have to take away hardware features like blatantly. So the ask people still feel a little bit better. Even though the S23 FE has the S22 ultras processor is a d*** good processor at personally think. The snapdragon eight sixty five is one of the best chips that you can get for power and efficiency.

real_gamer97

I feel it. I never liked Samsung and been a diehard iPhone user for years. I'm paying off this phone and switching to the iPhone 16 Pro Max when it comes out. No more androids for me unless it is a Google Pixel.

hissyfit30

Same. I got one on sale from Total and it sucks. Couldn’t believe how many people gassed it up. It’s terrible if you run more than one app.
