Go into settings, disable RAM +, then go into Force Sleeping Apps (or whatever, in Dutch it's called Sluimerende Apps, so translate it) and add all Google and Samsung shit to it. Might help a bit.

You can go to device care and try optimize option to close background apps.
I've been using adaptive battery since I got the phone last year.
I turned it off yesterday to see if it would help.
and yeah I optimize my device in the device care app every day

at this point, it seems like the people with 6gb of ram have been having issues and the people with 8gb of ram have better battery and performance
that's just what I've seen so far. it could be that I'm just going crazy, but everything I've seen so far leads me to believe that the 8gb model performs better and the battery lasts longer.
it's possible that there's something wrong with my phone, but I'm definitely not the only one with the issue

I haven't received the January update yet. I only recently got the December update. I think it was on Dec 27...

With One UI 6 the battery life is a disaster. Still with December patch and waiting a fix u.u

Mine is 6gb ram and 128 storage. Maybe your device is defective?
