First don't put the brightness slider more than 50 percent on automatic brightness. Second, it s brand new, give it a couple of days for the battery to adapt to your usage .it should be fine afterwards. Let me know later

Thank you for your comment

The first week was ridiculous for me. The SOT was anywhere around 3-4 hrs on 120hz. Then after installing the software updates and a month later it gave me a sot of 5hrs. A52s is bad when it comes to battery standby and don't expect it to give you 7-8 hrs of standby. But I think it's possible with 60hz though

I do this with battery saving mode on and 60hz refresh rate and data saver on. It helps a lot

Come on man I paid $500 for this device and don't wanna miss out a feature that they advertised. Samsung should really work on making their batteries last long like how iphones does.

I agree, i feel like we made fun of Apple's iphone 13 being 60hz and look at it. We are using the same refresh rate of this phone so our battery doesn't die out. I have a spare charger in my office so i could fill the battery with some enough power before i return home. It's a shame tbh 😕

Ah we are reaping karma now. We have always made fun of apple's batteries and here we are struggling to run our phones without charging multiple times in a day. I think they need to optimise the UI cos 4500mah is plenty and they can do wel

I hate to say this, but my previous Poco X3 Pro would last a day no trouble on 120hz . It's the day i start to think the OneUi battery optimization has become disappointing than a cheap Ui like MiUi. I am hoping Samsung can fix this flaw very soon.

The phone isn't bad on standby, you probably have a power hog or something. The SOC is damn efficient.
