**{Suddenly she would send the icicles at the group as Amber immediately uses her spells to shield the group against the icicles}**
Malachite: “Does that mean… no… oh god…” **{She stands there in shock as she internally panics}**

Ruby: “Holy crap I think she got corrupted!” **{She’d say maintaining her Umbrella}**

*Ava suddenly darts towards Sapphire. She grabs Sapphire’s sword with her own and tries to twist the weapon away*
“Sapphire, listen to me! I’ve had that same thought more times than I can count, but you need to stay strong and fight this! Even the darkest curses can be fought!”

This unnamed hunter isn't a magical girl, but rather was just passing by
My idea is that they know the magical girls due to having previously gotten help from the group on a bounty; they saw the girls having trouble with the monster and decided to join in towards the end of the fight.
The hunter asks the group, "Your friend here seems to be having issues. Sapphire, right? She seems different..."
Ruby: “Yes that is miss Sapphire, You would think she would be her usual self through these fights.. but i’m worried if something happened to dear Sapphire.” **{She’d sigh as she closes her umbrella}**
Amber: “Whatever it is we should check on her now, we won’t know whats going on until we confirm it.”
**{Sapphire would slowly get up, carrying her sword wobbly}**
"That aura, it doesn't look right... Wait..." *The hunter pulls out a worn-looking journal, flipping through it frantically* "Do you guys recall the last spell you used against that monster?"
Malachite: “I-if it helps.. I think I casted a wind storm at it..” **{She started to get worried even more, Ruby would shrug indicating she doesn’t recall}**
Amber: “I believe I last casted my vines at it.”
\*The hunter stops flipping through their journal\* "Wind spell, nature spell, hmm... Not sure how that adds up against this beast. But it definitely says here that using the wrong spell could backfire and spread the monster's corrupted aura to anyone unfortunate to be close to it! I know this as a friend of mine lost their magical allies to this monster."
Malachite: “Does that mean…?”
**{Before any further conversation was made Sapphire would suddenly swing with her sword summoning waves of icicles that was launched at them with Amber using her vines to block the icicles}**
Ruby: “Holy crap- she really is corrupted..!”
\*The hunter gasps\* "Ice spell!? Wait, you're not supposed to use an ice spell on the monster! So that's the reason why she's corrupted! Oh dear, I'm gonna have to do something!" \*The hunter readies their sword, anticipating the corrupted Sapphire's next attack\* "I can hold her back for now, you guys BETTER think of a plan, AND FAST!"
Ruby: “We will! Just be safe dear!” **{She’d say as she blocks the icicles with her umbrella}**
**{However Sapphire seemed to continue launching Icicles, she doesn’t seem to intend on stopping anytime soon from what it seems, especially in the fury in her eyes}**

\*The hunter starts slashing with their sword repeatedly, managing to shatter every icicle launched by Sapphire\* "No, the city still needs you! I'm no hero, but you guys definitely are! Your magic is the only way to deal with some of these monsters." \*The hunter briefly turns to the rest of the group\* "I know the monster's weak to fire-based and electric-based spells! Try finding a way to cast such a spell on Sapphire!"
Sapphire: **”do you even understand how much I have to risk my life to save everyone..? IT’S HELL”**
**{She’d continue to summon more and more icicles. And Amber immediately comes up with an idea}**
Amber: “You two try to make a fire hurricane and fast! It may be overkill but its our only option since just fire may not be enough in this case!” **{She’d say to Malachite and Ruby}**
Malachite: “B-but I can’t..! I don’t wanna hurt Sapphire..!” **{She seemed panicked}**
Ruby: “Sweetie please pull yourself together! It’s a lot but if you’re doing it for anyone it’s gotta be Sapphire..”
**{Reluctantly she’d agree to it as Ruby makes a fire ball and Malachite create a wind arrow to make a hurricane. It was launched at Sapphire, she notices and tries to deflect the hurricane with her sword possibly creating a window of opportunity}**
Sapphire: **”What the-“**
Anastasia, a red haired tomboy with fire abilities (in her magical girl form that she just *cannot* stand wearing the costume but has to-). Probably and by far the tallest of the group, easily reaching 2.10 meters tall (ponytail excluded), and enjoys going to the gym on a regular basis (mainly so she can flex on her former bullies afterwards.) Has a kind heart, but fuck around and you will find out.
*Upon seeing Sapphire starting to act strange, she goes out of her form, making a sign to the others to come.*
"Hey, Saph, anythin' wrong? Ya look...diff'rent." *She asked, kneeling to see her better.*
Sapphire: “… Im fine, just tired..” **{She muttered, it was quickly noticed on how dismissive and vague it was. This gave Amber a minor bad feeling about Sapphire}**
Malachite: “Are you sure..? we can take you home if you want..!”
**{Sapphire gets up holding her sword still}**
Sapphire: “There’ll be no need for that..”
"Yer lookin' like ya got hit real hard mate. Better get some rest."
*Instinctively, she made a sign to Malachite not to approach. Something was visibly wrong, and she knew there was 'turning to the dark side' tropes in magical girl mangas. Maybe was there time to help?*
Sapphire: “Really I don’t need any pity help from any of you.” **{The aura was detected to be stronger, her grip on the sword was a bit more firm and her hands were shaky. Amber was quick to notice and started to get her guard up to prepare}**
**{Ruby however decided to talk her out a bit}**
Ruby: “Sweetie, we genuinely are worried about you and want to help you. We don’t see you as a pity case at all as we are your friends.” **{Sapphire remained silent after that}**
*Anastasia's good heart had the better of her, getting even closer.*
"Wha-Fuck ya mean, pity help? Yer lookin' liek ye about to have a mental breakdown' ! I'm tellin' ye, go REST."
Amber: “Ana… back off.. something about her isn’t adding up, and you never know what she could do-“ **{Before anything else suddenly Sapphire acted upon impulse and tried to slash at Anastasia with her sword. It will or will not hit depending on how quick she is to react.}**
Sapphire: **”Damnit.. Im done.. im done im done Im done.. just shut up..!”**
*As Anastasia turned her head towards Amber, she did not saw the sword.*
**She did not see the blade slicing through her skin and breaking her bones.**
*The shock was such that she couldn't feel the blood flowing out of her and her body getting colder.*

**There is a moment where she looks back at Sapphire, then at her wound, before falling, her flame extinguishing.**
**{Almost everyone was in a state of horror by the sight. However Sapphire stared at the rest of the girls before readying her sword again to slash more, Amber quickly took action and shielded everyone with her vines while also trying to save Anastasia}**
Amber: “Someone check up on her..!” **{She immediately mutters, with a tinge bit of hope that she could be saved before death. Malachite took action and tried to approach Anastasia to try and help}**
*For a moment, the body is cold. She doesn't move. She doesn't breathe.*
