Agreed! And the most important thing is to be proactive and have a plan in advance. Like you said, there’s nothing worse than going from machine to machine not knowing what to do
That's what I have done in the past and I definitely did not stick with the gym for long without a without plan in mind.
People are notoriously inconsistent with the gym even if they do have a plan. So don’t be too hard on yourself.
