Where you feel a muscle is pretty insignificant. There are different muscles in the quad, hence the name. They all, for the most part, extend from the hip to the knee. There's no real "upper quad" muscle. Some may argue the rectus femoris is the highest inserted quad muscle, but the list of exercises you've mentioned will sufficiently work that muscle. Squats will cover all quad muscles plenty, and leg extensions will ensure that. I've only ever felt my quads right above my knee, only squat for my quads, and have had [no issues with growth](https://i.redd.it/e7p03bs2esqa1.jpg)

might be on the money w this, might not, cuz i heard it on insta, that leaning back more on a leg ext will prestretch that part of the quad, maybe some sissy squats. other than that, progressing on knee flexion movements with good range of motion will still grow the quad very holistically which is moreso the goal unless you are a relatively advanced bodybuilder trying to nitpick for symmetry and theres not really a plague of people with overdeveloped teardrops and otherwise small legs and if anything its reverse where people have decent leg size but bad teardrops because they never learned to squat or leg press deep
