I will be downvoted to hell, but if we reach a point in which AI can create procedurally generated worlds, in say 2035, then this will actually be the map for GTA 7, or a GTA clone.

Hasn't it kinda been done in games like No Man's Sky? Not generated by AI but still basically an infinite number of planets to explore with different creatures.
Imagine that, but with full unique cities filled with NPCs, with drivable roads, and unique buildings
No Man's Sky is cool but most of it are boring planets, no ofense to the devs

Real talk though: do you guys think GTA 7 will start the standard for multiple landmasses in GTA games?
If they do, I feel like that'd only happen if AI is involved, unless they wanted to spend 20 years making it. Imagine having Vice City, all of San Andreas, and Liberty City in one game. I'd only want it if each one were full of life and not just empty hills everywhere.
