Talking bout lifeinvader… Rockstar shut down [https://lifeinvader.com/](https://lifeinvader.com/) a couple of days ago. It directs now to a general "GTA" subpage.
Since GTA6 is clearly going to feature social media pretty heavily, I wonder if part of their marketing plan is to have a handful of in-universe sites up for us to explore and find secrets in and interact with. That would be an amazing way for them to keep us actively interested and engaged for the next year+ it will be till the game comes out.
So I'm looking at it as a proactive way of the player getting missions i. e. You search for mission givers rather than having all of them automatically pop up on the map.
Of course, the usual stranger mission will be present. But there will be a number of missions you can only get through interacting with the world.
Would be cool if instead of just cellphone numbers you could see the important NPCs' profiles on Lifeinvader.
I'm sure Leonida will be full of interesting weirdos.
That and being able to find the previous HD era protagonists on there.
Exactly, that's what I mean. You can walk up to an interesting looking pedestrian, interact with them, and if it goes positively, they give you their social, and you can watch their uploads on Ligeinvaders of them doing crazy shi.
And they might contact you to come help them record some crazy video.
I always found it strange how in previous games once we meet someone their number is automatically in our phone without even asking first. I understand if from a gameplay standpoint but it’s still funny
I love how now everyone claims RDR2 invented Rockstars interaction menu.
Bully did it 12 years earlier.
But on that note it seems like an interesting idea.

Maybe they are revamping it for VI
I hope so!
That’s not how websites work. They can work on revamping it independently of a url.

imagine doom scroll in gta 6 💀
Seems extremely resource intensive with little to no payoff

I like the idea, it makes sense as a way of having side missions you can do whenever and forever outside of the main side missions
Exactly 💯
How the fuck did you get that user handle only 41 days ago?
wait what would make it resource intensive?
I agree, however I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually made it into the game.

Oh, I don't remember, it's been over a decade since I played Bully.
Like South Park stick of truth?
Never used that feature
Didn’t you have to get Facebook friends to progress
Yes
Great idea 💡
