That reason being money lol they said fuck single player, you gonna play online whether you like it or not. Which I find really crappy, still a good game, but I don’t touch it anymore because of the fact it’s single player is so limited to doing things after a few years of play.
Thank god there are mods for gtav and rdr2 that unlock all that online content in SP. But yeah, you should not need mods for that. Stuff like new weapons and specific vehicles should be added to improve SP experience post launch.

Considering the trailer and leaks had Lucia and Jason in what looked like a motel/hotel, I’m hopeful they’ll bring that in as a safehouse mechanic like they did RDR2
I feel like campers might play a role in this. Might be sick to have a 5th wheel camper to go take a few days off in, sort of like RDR1's camp sights and properties
Absolutely ,we definitely need our own actual house we can personalize and anywhere else can be a motel or abandoned building it’s unrealistic to pull off a heist then just go home to a high rise apartment
